Reflecting on my newly found "independence" : Being let go is the best thing that ever happened to me. There is always something good that comes out of a bad situation. I am free of the daily rants of a bunch of clueless and crazy managers. But can't blame them, as they were responding as best they could to an erratic egomaniac senior leadership. Is not just RC, ALL of them are at fault (including the Board) for allowing the craziness to continue; to become the new normal. As a smart woman in the commercial space, I was belittle, given senseless instructions, and often "lectured" by a know-it-all liberal-version of Trump. But this is all over. I am FREE Free of this Bullsh * t. And the best part, I found another job within a couple of weeks; and using my severance money in XMas. Treating myself and family to a 2 weeks 5-stars Paris vacation. Wish all my "freed" colleagues a happy 4th. We are FREE, indeed. (And to my colleagues that stayed or were kept, in part you earn this by being "good lap dogs" and "butt-kissers" . You thought that you will be rewarded for all those jokes that you laughed at, yet, your reward ironically is to listen to more jokes, while your bonus and stock options awarded are cut)
