Quit wining about the forecast

    Hey, you think this is easy?! You want a hard job, come to HO and YOU forecast and see how it goes

    Why are we constantly ranked by trx and paid by goal attainment?

    Upper management takes zero risk and has zero penalty for their incompetence (except sales force turnover) using a capped quota system.

    If it's hard and you cannot get it right (launch projections were just as horrible) why would you parade your lack of ability around by basing your sales forces compensation on it?

    look, it is sort of a guess. there is a lot involved in a script; the rep, the doc, the patient, the plan, the office (do they even let reps in)
    If you want something based strictly on what you do, maybe we should base your bonus on the number of sandwiches you leave

    Yes the number of sandwiches would be a great metric since we are apparently going to be so metric focused. Reach and frequency of sandwiches so we can actually attain one of their quotas! Jus sayin'

    try bringing in Mama Testa's meatballs and Gussi's Marinara- the docs will eat up and write your trash products

    Well, one metric that is useless is rep calls. we at the HO see the best scripts come from docs never seen as well as 2x a month.
