What product(s) are the Specialty Reps selling?

    I have a phone interview this week for a specialty rep position but was given no indication of what product/disease state the position is for. The job description on the DSI career site is very vague. I asked the recruiter for details and she told me I would have to ask the hiring manager when I spoke with him. What is the big secret?

    Ha! You'd probably turn down the phone interview if they told you. You would sell Movantik (opioid induced constipation) which is almost impossible to meet the goal they set; welchol (been around awhile). You will also have a select number of targets (sample drop) for Savaysa (competing with Eloquis & Xatelto). Hate to break it to you but there's nothing about the "specialty" division that is in reality a true "specialty" gig. It's a title. If this is your last resort then go for it. This used to be a great company but times are tough here right now. Good luck!
