No matter the industry, your manager is never your friend. Especially if you a strong rep, your manager will smile to your face, and knife you when your away. With experience comes wisdom and in pharma this is fact.
Ahh middle management . There are so few good ones. Most of them are such idiots they can't even function beyond being Corporate's puppet and feeding corporate bullshit. Most of them are egomaniacs, easily maninpukated by the ZDs. The ones that are good are pushed to the outer circle by their managers and deemed as untrustworthy. They will be banned from any future Presidents clubs or advancements. Don't be surprised she's gone as any friend you had before . She's now a corporate drone being controlled like a puppet so she can be in the cool crowd. It's unpopular to fight for your people or push back against corporate...the word of god to these idiots . Don't trust a single one they will destroy you if you don't tell them they're amazing and how much you love them them and this great company. If you are perceived as negative you will deal your fate too.
She was hated by her people at ISTA and now she is just not respected by most. So that's progress. She has a lot of "yes" people on her team so she'll be fine.
