Horrible Culture

That's what they foster so everyone is miserable and they do t know until they leave and realize that not all companies are horrible

 

Benefits are decent. Pay is very average (and they are very proud of maintaining average). I've worked in a few therapeutics areas in this company. Micromanagement, beating down good feelings about success and snuffing advancement opportunities are rampant here.

 

The whole J&J experience really has been a disappointment. I joined 3 years ago when I was 35, so I had some work experience. It's tough to reconcile the "Family of Companies" public image to the reality of working for this Company where "leaders" have no real leadership skills, their only focus is on the next job/promotion. Don't get me wrong, there's nothing wrong with ambition, but accomplish something before you start looking for another promotion.

The other poster is correct. You really are a dumbass. CafePharma allows the free expression of ideas. What the original poster wrote is close to correct: There are "favored" reps who are allowed to do as they please as long as they kiss their manager and RBD's asses and call it ice cream. I know reps that take six or eight vacations a year, posting them all on social media, and then claim they only took two weeks and management lets them carry it over. They work a couple of days a week and even then only between 10 and 2, but they are allowed to do it without repercussions. So if they want to brag about it, just let them. They earned it. In a despicable way, but they earned it. And it is so utterly easy to pull the wool over our VP's eyes!

 

You are obviously a JBI manager. Only a fool would write this.

 

I have seen many reps get caught in unconventional ways. And mgt. would never approve such nonesense as their job would be on the line. This should be investigated and I will make sure that it is taken care of immediately.

 

JBI operates by its own set of rules. I know reps who have almost zero access so they spend their summers at their vacation homes. Management could care less.
