And we wonder why there's a question?

Wrap your head around this: A President who is accused of winning the election by conspiring with a foreign power, is now openly signaling that no investigation will be allowed.

I meant the Trump administration. Which is what I indicated.

You want to dredge up issues prior to his administration.

An better to grab it than rub cigars on it like Bubba Clinton did.

    You lose again! :D

Trump can pardon himself – but it would be disastrous for democracy. End of story. :p

According to Bloomberg: FBI investigators and others are looking at Russian purchases of apartments in Trump buildings, Trump’s involvement in a controversial SoHo development in New York with Russian associates, the 2013 Miss Universe pageant in Moscow and Trump’s sale of a Florida mansion to a Russian oligarch in 2008, the person said.

    Now we’re getting somewhere!

How long do you think we have until Trump goes down?

If the president has objections, he has to raise it with Rosenstein showing chapter and verse why the nexus isn't met" with regard to the path of Mueller's investigation, Wright said.

Mueller has shown no signs of veering outside the terms of his appointment, said Asha Rangappa, an associate dean at Yale Law School and former FBI special agent. But even if Mueller came across something potentially criminal that was beyond his scope, "it's not like he can just walk away from it."

"He would have to hand it off to Wray and the rest of the FBI," Rangappa said, referring to Comey's prospective replacement Christopher Wray. "They can't just ignore these things."

Trump has reportedly become so disturbed by the path Mueller's investigation seems to be going down that he and his legal team are searching for ways to discredit and possibly fire him.

But experts say there is no evidence that Mueller has engaged in any inappropriate behavior that would warrant his removal. And while Trump could order Mueller's dismissal, he could not fire him directly unless he ordered the repeal of the special-counsel regulations adopted in 1999, according to Neal Katyal, a former acting solicitor general who helped draft them.

That would be an "extravagant" move, Katyal wrote in May. But Matt Miller, a Justice Department spokesman under President Barack Obama, said he realized after Trump fired Comey that "we all need to expand our imagination about what [Trump] might do to stop this investigation."

"I think it's clear that he will not let this investigation run its natural course without interfering in some fashion, and that is going to provoke a massive crisis for his presidency and the country," Miller said. "These leaks are probably the product of a lot of things, but one of them is Trump testing the boundaries of what he can get away with."

Mueller shows far more signs of being out of control than Trump. End of story.

Anthony Scaramucci, Trump's new communications director, hit the Sunday political talk show circuit today. His go to topic was how we need to concentrate on Trump's agenda and put all this Russia stuff behind us. He says the need to move on is crucial because all the attention given to Russia (the proverbial cloud) is preventing Donald and congress from getting anything done. That's the same song the administration has been singing for a while now.

Which leads to one simple question. It's obvious the collusion and entanglement issue isn't going anywhere until it's resolved. And the easiest and fastest way to resolve it is with the complete cooperation of all the players.

So my question is, why is the whole Trump team obstructing, dodging, hindering, seeking ways to undermine, and generally doing everything in their power to slow down or entirely stop the investigation. If they have nothing to hide, they will be the big winners when it's all in the books, and there's nothing more to dig out. And they alone have the power to end the near stalemate.

    You ignorant, lying fool!

High official after high official, holdovers from the Obama years, have repeatedly stated under oath, that there is NO EVIDENCE OF COLLUSION between Trump and his associates and Russia. None, zero, zip, nada!

How many more top officials in a position to know have to testify to suit you? Hmm?

Where there is no evidence, there is no need for an investigation.

Meanwhile there is no investigation when there is very real evidence of collusion between the Democrat party and foreign nationals, The Ukraine, to influence the election. It had an impact on the course of the election.

All dolts like you have are your deranged fever swamp fantasies. Trump did nothing wrong and is going nowhere and he's going to make your life miserable for at least the next 3 1/2 years.

Your old crone Hillary got beat and she will never be president. Enjoy!

When you are a billionaire, and you can't get a single U.S. bank to loan you money, something is wrong.

When you are a life-long New York billionaire, and you can't get any other New York billionaire to loan or invest in your business operations, something is wrong.

When you are a US billionaire and bypass banks in Canada, the UK, and Japan, and go straight to Russian oligarchs and Kremlin banks for funding, something is wrong. When you have business dealings with Russian money-launderers and hold clandestine meetings with Russian spies, something is wrong.

Donald Trump Jr., 2008: Russian money was “pouring in” to the Trump business. “Russians make up a pretty disproportionate cross-section of a lot of our assets… certainly with our project in SoHo and anywhere in New York. We see a lot of money pouring in from Russia.

Donald Trump, 2014: “We have all the funding we need out of Russia.”

Eric Trump, 2014: “We just go there [Russia] all the time.”

As an American, but without the tools of discovery enjoyed by a trial lawyer, I don't yet know the specific facts, but I know enough today to know something is wrong, really wrong, and potentially agressively anti-American.

I like Dr. Kraut hammer but he's simply off base in this.

The bottom line is that NO laws were broken. How it looks or what people's opinions on things is totally irrelevant. No laws were broken. End of story.
