Ok folks, here is the preliminary plan for fall 2017. Every territory is being evaluated as we speak. They are looking at access, sales results, targets, etc. They are developing an internal metric that correlates all this to opportunity. From that opportunity metric they determine number of reps in a given geography.

The analysis I have seen shows about a 25% reduction from current numbers but it's territory specific so there is no concrete number. They are also looking at changing the marketing approaches currently utilized.

I offer this as information to those that could be potentially be impacted. Last fall was a shitty thing to do before the holidays. If you want to shit on my post, that's fine I don't care. I'm sharing what I think is the right thing to do.

Thank you so much for your insight! Any idea if Praluent PCP reps automatically get the ax or will we be in consideration like everyone else?

Thank you very much for being kind enough to pass-on the info you have. Please ignore those that feel the need to give you crap. The vast majority of us are very grateful for the info and would appreciate any further updates you might have.

I appreciate the info but Sanofi has had a fall Thanksgiving /early December layoff everyear except 1 since the early 2000's. No mystery. And for the record not one has had any thought except the zipcode you live in. Sanofi isn't smart enough to figure in market access and sales access. Good luck to all

KAPLAN totally fucked up the last one in December. What a complete debacle that was. Kaplan Fucked us bad in his 7 months of tenure. How has nobody on Executive Committee been fired for hiring Kaplan.

How was it shitty? I am still getting paid severance from a job I hated doing and now I am doing something else. I have no problem saying I was too scared to leave on my own and I can't thank them enough for shoving me out the door and paying me. Only was shitty to those who stayed.

We are Sanofi. At layoffs we're the best. We suck at all the rest.

We can't launch a product for shit. But we rock at being unevied, unexpected.

HR is an unprofessional nightmare. Have dealt with two young twats in the Midwest and they're likely an HR issue themselves. Can't believe the direction management is being given. Told to give low ratings, find something, anything negative to put into FCR. Mid year ratings directly from HR? Paris needs to clean this place out. Lawyers are salivating to hear about how reps have been treated under the direction of Kaplan.

You must be in Chicago. I've heard the stories. Hope you landed somewhere better. I don't think upper management cares that people continue to leave since they think it's viable for managers to have 5-7 reps. Endless fire drills (AOP, veeva challenges, webcasts, programs, trainings, e-learning, teleconferences, meetings) that's in July alone.

Same thing happening here in the East. Funny thing is our RBL came from Midwest. I think they've all become delusional and are just trying to make themselves look good at this point. They don't care about the warm body in each role.

My manager is even looking. Our zone leader has told her that if reps aren't happy, then leave. In complete denial that the entire clusterfuck after December realignment is on them. The leaders.

The company is a complete mess. Fire drills and busy work. All from the idiot RBL trying to impress more idiots above them

Look. It is bad, but what is better? WTF, play the game, aka fake calls, it is a pay check and a darn good one. Get real people. What did you think you signed up for??
