They have NO IDEA how to sell anything. All they can do is harass you, thinking that might make you a better salesperson. But it won't work. Because if you're reading this, you're still here. And that's not good. Because all the great sales reps have gone. They got out of here. Because they wanted to sell. You're not a sales rep. You're a scared rep. And because you're scared, you'll never sell.
My DM told us that Marti issued a serious directive to all the managers: Tell all reps to cease reading CafePharma. But I didn't hear a directive on posting here! LMAO
Our DM gave us a great summer project: Determine the reps who post negative comments about Marti and the company here. So far we figured out about 10 people and Marti is getting their names soon. We are coming up with even more so if you post here you might want to stop.
My buddy tool the early retirement a couple of years ago, but now his area is doing so badly that Marti actually gave him a call nearly begging him to come back. The package they're offering him is almost unbelievable, but my friend is pretty honest so I have to believe it. I think he's going to take it. Number one on his list from senior management is to get all his old territory teammates together and teach them how to actually sell. I can't wait to see how that goes!
I heard this same thing from my DM. Apparently Marti wants to bring some top talent back and has been reaching out to reps who left because she's so disappointed with the performance of some areas.
You have it kind of wrong. Marti is hiring a former rep who has a company that teaches how to really sell to provide seminars for a lot of the reps still here because she thinks they are total incompetents at selling. She wants a rep who had a great track record of success to come back to teach how it's done. Kind of embarrassing for the reps who have to sit there quietly and be schooled.
This company is ruining our health. I look at us and I see nothing but chubbiness and sad weathered faces. Marti, can't you see what you're doing to us? I bet ninety per cent of us have drinking problems and our family lives have gone to hell. Nobody is happy. We need new leadership. We need that to come from out own ranks though. Who would YOU like to see as our new VP?
No one is being called to come back to this place. It does not matter anyway, everyone knows no one sees anyone. The chit chat lies on here are incredible.
