How can we expect to continue selling Livalo when a generic is available?

Generics are less desirable in certain cases and prescriber wont write them.

I guess you're both new to Pharma. Usually when another company comes out with a generic version of yours, your job is toast. Just sayin.

I wish upper management would communicate more regarding this. Next year the branded generics are hitting the marketplace . What does that mean for us and should we be worried? Someone who's informed needs to tell the sales force what plans are in place

Unfortunately, upper management is not going to say anything because they want you to sell today.
With Brad's departure, the writing is on the wall. I doubt we're getting thru this. Generics will be available Jan. 1. Check Cleveland Clinic's employee formulary for Jan. Zyptimag is on there.

Did Brad leave because of the generic? Seems unrelated. Selling today is fine, We would all like to know there is something to sell tomorrow.

if anyone thinks Brad's "departure" was due to generic Livalo, they live under a rock.

Based on the activity of this board it looks like that happened.
