If it's true and you have ML as your boss - Run.... This is not an exaggeration. You will be in for hell and a level of micromanaging that you have only heard about before....
Salix rep here. Did you guys hire Mark Lyon or not? There is a rumor on our board that you did. If so, good luck because you're going to need it.
I find it funny how the Salix reps are so worried about who we hired or didn't. Personally I haven't heard anything about Mark Lyon being hired. That said we are a different- and quite frankly a much higher functioning organization then "Salix". Our management and reps are at a much higher level in terms of experience. If we hired Mark I'm confident that he is a good hire. The "Salix" (ie. Valeant) reps should worry about where they are going to work next, when the next layoffs are going to occur, the next 100% price increase, etc. And not who we hire and then try to trash the guy because you didn't like him. If he is as bad as you guys make him seem he won't last long here. So worry about what you can control- you company has plenty of problems. And quite frankly is the laughing stock of this industry. So your opinions don't mean much.
Lyon isn't coming to Vertex and sensible folks like you are rare on here. Too many trolls with the mind of a child and way too much time on their hands post 24/7/365 including during business hours which is a clue they either don't work or are just lazy as hell and posting from wifi at their minimum wage job at McDonalds or Walmart
If you fools actually hired that evil man I feel bad for you. I feel bad because the management team that is leading you has no clue. I feel bad because your company probably won't be around if they are making choices like that! Best of luck getting Salix trash!
