Curt Oltmans = Shady Lawyer. Nothing else needs to be said. Move him out and restore integrity in our legal department.

He's not the only shady one you'd have to get rid of to restore integrity.

What did he do? Agree legal is a cluster - way too many high paid lawyers, who are all "overwhelmed", and still need to refer to outside counsel. But, what did Curt do that's different from any other ET member? All let their teams get too big too fast, when they knew we were growing unsustainably on value and not volume, because they wanted empires. Now employees, and patients, are all paying the price, while they get cozy gigs in DC. They should all be out. Poor management across the board put us here and they should all be held accountable. But the employees (most with families who rely on their incomes and health benefits) who came to work everyday and implemented the strategies set by these "leaders" are going to lose their jobs. I don't know how anyone could be proud to work any area of this company again. We'll do it for our families, if we get to stay, but it's hard to feel good about it.

Yeah, legal is too big but there's more. as someone said before, he's shady and he's a lousy leader. He never stood up to jesh, scanlon or anyone else on anything. And what initiatives has he led? Easy to see why jakob took DC away from him.

Clean the legal corrupt team up. Start with Curt O. He's Crooked Curt. Way worse than Hilary.

Curt oltmans is probably the most honest person I have ever worked for. He cares about people but is also very professional. In my opinion anyone who would call him shady is a downright liar.

Could not agree more , he is a hard worker and good person . To the person above who compared him to Hilary , your a joke and an idiot . Look what the man did in his Native American project . Anyone who speaks bad about curt oltmans is simply lazy and looking for a reason to complain about their current situation.

Perfectly said...Curt is a great person!! If you don't like him, I'm guessing you did something very wrong that his department had to act on.

These last 3 posters have obviously never worked for him, ask any of the ten or more lawyers who left in the last year and almost all who are still here and they will tell you horrible leader, demoralizing, completely disengaged and shady as they come. He puts up a great front so not surprised you were misled.

I have worked for Curt and he is one of the most honest attorneys I have ever worked for. People who call him shady or corrupt have probably been on the side of some advice or guidance that they disagreed with. In my experience he is a good and decent person. I would work for him again in a heartbeat.

Anyone can sit here and say he is shady behind an anonymous username , however as someone who worked for curt for 5 years, I can say he is one of the best people to work for and be around. He has an incredible passion for his work and is an incredible lawyer. He may be gone from Novo but I wish him the best and honesty looking at the direction Novo is going I am glad to be at a new company like Curt .

    Same here.
While I'm not with NNI any longer, and I didn't work in Legal, Curt and his team were strong business partners.

I wish they were where I am now.
