I am thinking of applying to Myriad/assurx but I'm concerned about all of the negative comments. Can someone be honest and tell me what it's like working as a sales rep for this company? I've been in pharma sales for the last 5 years. What can I expect salary plus commission? Benefits? What else should I know.

It really depends on what region you are in and who your manager is. Salary is ~ 70K. Benefits are good. They have a matching a 401(k) plan - 50% and a Myriad stock discount is offered. How much you will make in total compensation really depends on if you have any commercial reimbursement in your area and if you have a lot of Psychiatrists who see Medicare patients with MDD. Otherwise, most orders will be $5 commission orders.

NY area, which as I understand can be a hard sell. $5 commission? I can't live on that in New York. Thanks for the information, I'll pass.

Basically, most people here are new or waiting for something better to come across their desk.

When the MSL's start to leave, it's time to consider a move (it's been time actually). I guess it was inevitable. Myriad doesn't value us - Bryan is only around to make sure the clinical study gives our horrible CEO and the other "leaders" more money. With Donatos (emphasis on the pizza) gone, that's more money for her.

Guessing payer markets is next. The lab... They'll likely be integrated into the corporate lab and be gone in a year.

No R&D, sales rep turnover in double digits, lab moving, no reimbursement without jumping through hoops. As they say on Glass Door, "what was once great".

Not the company's fault. Commercial payouts no longer find Pgx and cancer genetic testing of any legitimate value. The future is a cash only model. Most labs that have gone down that route never really make enough to keep the doors open.

Was it better than Supreme. LoL,..Tommy I. making a bunch of nonsense posts to push all his negative threads to the 2nd page and the scam info regarding Supreme. I bumped 2 back to the top from the 2nd page for any new viewers.
