Sirukimab looks like it's not going to be approved.

Remicade is beginning to take it on the chin from the biosimilars and the fact that we lost some of our REAL salespersons. Catering staff lunches is not going to push our keystone drug.

We better be scared. I want to get one of those great jobs that the good reps who left got. I know one guy who makes 250k and doesn't have to deal with the crap management poops all over us here.

First of all I sincerely hope you are not referring to getting a biosim job. Second, Seri will get approved. Rituxan was sent back initially by the FDA. With limited indications we probably won't continue with it. Every market is crowded. The move is now towards a cure. Since we know that the causes typically are tied to viral antigens, it is predictable the class will go the way of the Hep-C industry. And that is where our future is going to be, not jumping to a soon to be a "has been" biosim Amway company. BTW there are only small biotech number of companies paying top money. Along with the pay goes a significant amount of risk. Unless your manager is a dick I would stay put.

But we need real sales professionals to sell it. Most of the reps in my area spend their time bragging over how great of a bakery they found, or the best caterers.
Ask them how they sell, and they go silent.

Marti created this. She fostered a culture where the mediocre can exist. I am ashamed of this company.

That was by design. Eliminate the reps that had swagger but also had game. Now the reps have plenty of swagger but zero game. Your number of Specialty Pharmacy warehouses in your territory equals your President cup wins. Sales has been dumbed down to the lowest common denominator; a heart beat and a college degree. The competition laughs as one failed launch becomes two... then four... and more to come. The only people not embarrassed to work here are the slackers and old timers and neither can sell. If you want be happy and make a good living without fearing the annual restructuring, go outside of jnj. Thee are plenary of happy former reps.

I'm one of those former reps and I couldn't be happier! I have a job in a different industry although it still involves medicine and physician practices. When they drove me out of here they were so happy, all the managers and their sneaky reps, because they thought they had messed me up. But instead I got a job with a huge consulting firm. The doctors actually WANT to see us, and instead of bringing bagels and donuts I can take them out to concerts, ball games, golf outings and expensive dinners. The firm I work for is so cool and has a ton of great people because they don't tolerate mediocrity or backstabbing. When I left JBI I was making around 200k with everything considered, but last year I almost hit 500k and I'm on track to break that this year. I couldn't be happier with the work-family balance. I'm surrounded by talented, fun and extremely good looking people. (Hey, it's just the way it is. Sorry, but most of the reps I left behind need not apply, lol.)

One of my favorite things is talking to current JBI people and them telling me how miserable the reps are there, or seeing their pics on social media and seeing how badly they've aged. They deserve it!

Okay, have to sign off in order to make my tee time. Enjoy your "lunch and learn." LMAO

Good for you! I think I know who you are and you were a true Rockstar! You should know that the jerks who went after you are literally dying here. They hate their jobs and lives. Good luck with your successful new job. Successful people make out great wherever they land!

Lazy talentless hacks who remained here to rot can't accept that others went on to better things. Sorry you're in denial.
