Hi I'm a current Medtronic reps/covidien rep and I literally don't work. I never work but I make decent money. Will I be able to continue my free ride here? Do they track you at all at cardinal? I can't imagine having to actually work after all these years of skating by. I've been riding the best gravy train ever and want to make sure I can stay on it!!

You'll be fine. You have two years, maybe. We'll get rid of you just like we did the Cordis reps.

You're absolutely right! You forgot the ITI and Access-Closure reps, too--also doomed. Scum bags running CAH will suck every ounce of profit out of you marrow then shit can your asses. Happy Trails!

shouldnt this post be renamed "Cardinal Health reps don't work?" Or at least titled "don't work hard?" The majority of you are nothing more than order takers and are all about finding out if your widget is on contract. Cheapest price wins. It's sad that a Fortune 15 Company employs such bumbling idiots all the way from the top down.

Don C,-- we know this is you or one of your butt-sniffers. Please get back to driving the price of Cardinal stock even lower. You've done a superlative job at killing our market value for the past 18 months so why stop now by wasting time on the Cafe? Isn't there another moribund company or useless me-too product brand you can purchase to feed your insatiable ego until the Board wises up and shit-cans you?

Stock price rises and falls like the tide. It will go back up.

Am I the only peon that thinks DC did a good job buying Covidien? Would you other morons rather Medline bought it? I don't. The only thing keeping us above Medline right now is the legitimacy of our products. They do a lot of things better than us. Product is not one of them. Moving product different story.

Also, wouldn't you want someone in DCs role to have a huge ego? His job is to grow the company through acquisitions and mergers.

Speaking of morons looks like Mike Doofus was online last night. It's OK for a leader to have an ego - but they also need to understand the difference between leading and being a monumental asshole. DC does not know the difference.

AS HAS BEEN SAID BEFORE, DC IS A TOXIN DEBILITATING CARDINAL FROM WITHIN. FOR THOSE OF YOU OK WITH HIS TOXIC LEADERSHIP, YOU HAVE MY SYMPATHIES. FOR THE REST OF US, WE HAVE MADE PLANS TO EITHER FIND WORK ELSEWHERE AT OUR CONVENIENCE, OR STAY THE COURSE UNTIL THIS DOLT IS TERMINATED. DIDN'T J&J SEND HIM PACKING BEFORE HE LANDED ON OUR DOORSTEP?

I'm not MD. Just a rep with a positive outlook. Why would MD claim the Medline does a lot better than Cardinal.

So sad that cafepharma censors the truth about leaders in this god awful company.

Are we giving up on Distribution excellence in Med? Yes, buying product is ok and expensive. Lost too many good leaders in Dist operations in my view to save others egos and jobs. Spent tons on ops exc and with McKinsey to better dist. IT SAP was not the best and under funded for sure for Dist.

This what I don't understand. Cardinal seems like they want out of distribution. Or, they at least seems like they want out of full distribution. DC has made it pretty clear the company is headed to distribute it's products and only the products it wants to move. Which could work if the company was big enough.

Medtronic folks will be RIF'd, too, just like the Cordis and ITI folks--and everyone else deemed superfluous at Cardinal. As FY18 earnings stumble, you'll be tumbled out the door in increasing numbers. You think you were purchased to advance your careers? No, you were purchased to enhance the size of CAH and the egos of the nimrods who found it wise to purchase you. You are sales fodder to be disposed of just like the rest of us when Dublin deems it wise to do so. Enjoy your stay, however brief.

Programs getting cut left and right to pay for all this new middle management they have. I think they added 4 new levels between rep and CEO, most of them from Medtronic. Company is bloated with management and too lean with customer ops and support

No its not sad! Its awesome, they bring no competition and have no brains. Cheap and on contract, no need to understand business and thats why dummies from the top down are there.

    Be glad they are idiots!
