What's the latest on the managers? Placed yet? Any externals heard? And no, I'm not a manager candidate. I'm a rep stuck in the waiting game.

Most DM's received offer letters a few weeks ago. There are still a few open DM spots though. Rep interviews will be in Sept. I don't think they've released dates yet. The timeline has changed several times. Home Study will likely be in Oct.

Thanks for the reply! And good information. So what about the open DM positions that I still see posted on Amgen's careers page. I take it those are still open. And actually one of those DM spots is where I would be interviewing with. Any information on them? Thanks for your help.

I know they're really trying to get those DM spots filled ASAP. There's a chance if it's not filled, you will interview with another Amgen DM....likely from the INBU team.

Amgen is realigning the Blue and White Teams. If a local Blue team DM has Neuro experience, there's a strong possibility they could fill the position.

There's lots of unknowns with Amgen right now. I think we will hear more in the next week or two.

Exactly what are the blue and white teams? There was a ton of openings posted Saturday in my state and it looks like they all say white team?

Are these positions seperate from the ones that those tsp clowns are supposed to be hiring for?

Yes, those are separate from what TSP are hiring for. The Blue and White Team are realigning....that's why there's so many territories posted.

Start date is early Nov. Home study and then training the week after Thanksgiving.

Not all managers hired, but most are.

Interviews soon in Dallas. Some internal moving over.

Is the Chicago manager hired yet? I'm still waiting on a phone screen from the manager?

Not sure about the Chicago manager. Are you a current Amgen employee? I have only heard of current employees being interviewed. I just asking, I am also waiting for a manager phone interview, but not in Chicago.

Chicago DM position is still posted on Amgen's website so I don't think they have hired anyone yet. That being said someone else on my team, we are both external, had a phone screen yesterday with a DM...more of these will be taking place soon from what they were told, f2f early October.

This is super odd. Why is the Chicago mgr. not hired yet? Was an internal taking it and then backed out? I've heard nothing from my TSP recruiter, Matt, and he promised me an interview. I hope I don't get lost in the who mess that this is becoming. I'm hoping to get into Amgen and wish I had more info. Who was the current Amgen mgr. that phone screened?

The Chicago manager will be announced very soon. What territory of "Chicago" are you looking to work?

I live near downtown. I could take either.

This is going to be a great drug. With Botox as the only other competition for now, it is going to be hard to convince the female patients. I had a neurologist tell me there are usually ten to fifteen units of Botox left over and the he asks the patients where they would like it? We are going to do well with it.

I'm interviewing for this position. I just need to make sure that some current Amgen manager in Indiana isn't going to be the migraine manager. His name is Jason E. and I am hoping he doesn't get the manager job. Does anyone know who the Indiana manager is?
