    Hmmm...lets see.
Tomorrow is August 31,right? Also known as doomsday for the mighty "HR/HQ source here". I'm thinking that you specifically quoted wait by the phone announcement...for Aug31st.
Now, let's put this HR source credibility out the window once and for all.
You are simply wrong most, if not all of the time.
You simply are trying to create false threads to place fear into those that work for a living. Wrong again!
So, the next time you try to conjure or create some concoction about layoffs, it might make sense to tell the truth.

The trolls playing you like a puppet, Stop feeding them. Sound like you need a friend too.
After there's no layoffs tomorrow, the troll slug will crawl back in his cave or move to the next board.

Work for a living? Most of you trolls following along never leave your house. You have zero access, zero relationships, and zero knowledge of your customers' needs.

But hey, this is the environment created over years of ass kissers and boot kickers climbing the ranks.

    Yeah! This.
And....There is a National sales meeting next year. Sarah said so. Now quit whining and wishing to be severed.

Of course there will be a National Sales meeting next year. Novartis always has a National Sales meeting but most likely none of us will be a part of it.

Let's all take a deep breath. Today came and went with no layoffs. Yes, there will be an AZ sales meeting as stated. No it won't be a novastravartis meeting either.
Bottom line, no one knows squat about layoffs, mergers, territory changes until the very end. So chances are everything is safe within AZ for the time being from headcount reduction aspect. Nothing anyone can do about it anyway. So lets just work, get paid, go home to our loved ones, and be thankful we've been given another day here. It could always be worse.

Drip, drip, drip, but it hasn't happened to me yet is a formula for disaster. The same logic and psychology existed in the ghettos during WWII. Jews were rounded up gradually to be taken to the concentration camps while those not yet targeted stood by until it was too late for them to act. Not me. I am actively interviewing now to get out of this cesspool. There is no future here, only more of the same.

I literally love it here!! Just ordered a new car and going to Vegas. My personal life rocks because I am not beaten to death from crazy american slave driving jobs...like the ones we call on! And I am learning German in the car with Rosetta Stone!! I LOVE THIS JOB!!! Count your blessings!

    You doth protest too much...

What about slavery & overall racial discrimination abuses and murder? Do you feel as passionately about others who have been marginalized by the Anglo Euro-centric agenda? If your disgust about the holocaust reference does not illicit the same response when you hear about lynchings on American soil, then you too are part of the problem.

He or she may be sick but I am with them as far as interviewing to leave this place. Hiding your head in the sand and ignoring the obvious that their is no future here is not a good strategy unless you are close to retirement. In that case hold on as long as you can and hope for a package. As far as the analogy of the Jews, it is true that the Nazi went about this in stages to avoid a panic. People willingly marched to what they thought was going to be a relocation. AZ is depending on the same psychology of sheep.

Do you really want to keep doing this job for another 5 or even 10 years? Not me. I can't handle the constant rejection and boredom. Anyone who could do this rep job for 10 years is either one lazy ass or very good at fooling themselves that they are doing something worthwhile. I start dreading Monday at about noon on Sunday. Can't take this any longer. Offices detest us, our managers jobs are even more worthless than ours, and nobody in HQ gives two shits about us.

I am actively interviewing for a new job. The only real losers are those that ride this train wreck to their inevitable end.

Yes. That's right going to ride all the way to a package.:):p:D

HQ source here. Those of us that have been in Wilmington for a while laugh at the young ambitious ones that come into Home Office thinking they are being developed for a future career advancement. Some of these naive 20 somethings will be stuck here, far from home, and the company won't think twice about them when they are cut loose.

HQ source here. Older greybeards are being strategically eliminated as they are non productive and overpaid.
The milineals are a force to be reckoned with out performing the dinosaurs for less salary.

Package? What package? Oh, you mean that package that will be reduced to AZ's advantage? Believe me, it's not worth waiting around here for.
