some of you have no idea how good you have it; i've been somewhere with double the premiums and double the deductibles...amgen is pretty good from what i've seen; if they give 10% of your salary, i highly doubt you pay that much on healthcare...idiot

 

The great Amgen 401k and summer shutdown is offset by what I call crappy corporate culture. The health benefits for a F500 company at 80% for PPO is pretty bad. It could be worse but Amgen isn't a startup. I've been a companies with less than provided better coverage for less too. 8+ hours a day in the mindless drone of Amgen isn't worth the minor perks left over from its glory days.

 

July shutdown may be taken away, been on the table for a couple of years, watch them pull the trigger-right before layoffs

 

alot has to do with the manager you get. I'd say emphatic NO if meaghan is your manager. That miserable attitude of hers? She's has to be so pissed off at men in general she takes it out on you if you're prettier(That's everyone who's not fat)and if you're a guy that doesn't have a gross fetish.
