I was cut last December. My manager at the time shared with me that the severance package would change from 3 weeks per year of service to 2 weeks per year of service. So far, everything he told me has come to pass. It took me 3 months to find a job. If you are not in a major city then it could take you longer. If you have an opportunity, please don't wait for the package. You may not get enough to cover you until you find another job. I'm not a troll and I'm not lying.

You are not lying!! Your manager was lying...still 3wks/year. None of us are leaving without getting paid and we are too lazy to be proactive to search elsewhere. I am not lying.

Yes, but are you and your former manager still lovers??? Why are you on this site if you have another job? Are you making love with your new manager? You are an imbecile! Honestly, no BS

The idiotic responses to my post clearly shows that I am all wrong. Only Sanofi would hire and retain this meat head mentality. Carry on! Im sure you have many more years of employment with Sanofi!

Sorry sunshine, go to MyHr and look up the involuntary separation policy which was updated in 2013. 3 weeks, period. Extra weeks if you are 50 or older. Max is 78 weeks. You get whatever bonus you earned. No mention of non compete .

This industry is shot. Feel sorry for anyone who doesn't have plan b. For Pete's sake, get a side hustle, save money pay down debt. Start your own business. You can do it. Many have.

    Love,
