Any equipment that requires tech to install will be sold with certain margin and thru dealer, you're probably thinking about consumables business which is indeed lost.

"Any equipment that requires tech to install will be sold with certain margin and thru dealer, you're probably thinking about consumables business which is indeed lost."

This statement shows how truly clueless you are about this minor insignificant in the Big Picture industry.

Direct - selling major and minor (and now tech of all sizes) equipment companies have been around for decades and independent service techs and installers have been doing a good job on their side for that long or longer. Training ? Ever hear of DVDs and the new fangled internet ? No one needs a local dental dealer for anything and a retail territory rep even less.

In your case, you are so shortsighted and filled to the brim with a particularly deadly (for your future income) flavor of corporate Kool Aid that you don't even see or realize the business that you are walking by that is going direct and by passing you - right into your existing territory I'd be willing to bet. Well get ready because alternative distribution is here, it is growing like wildfire. You, likely, are not.

Your argument is invalid and has been for quite a few years. No, I'm not thinking about consumables.

Wanna try again? The last word awaits your brilliant powers-of-deduction and industry experience, because I'm Done with You.

    Sad.

I wonder if corporate will ever email their employees to tell us how they screwed us on our stock price. Thanks guys.
We know how you feel about your employees now.

  4. Well-you got your email today. Over a week later and full of nothing but hollow words.

What is happening? Sh$t is finally rising to the surface. Reps knew their sales numbers were wrong all along. They knew company was inflating performance based on quota increases that were based off fraudulent performance numbers. Investors were giggling at how high the stock price was climbing meanwhile leaders were selling the $hit out of their stock. Makes you wonder if investing in the stock market with a "stable" company like Dentsply is a better idea than just betting the NFL with a bookie. At least you have a real view of past performance and heck they even give you an injury report.

hopefully Chris Clark will be the one doing the perp walk. And his HR girlfriend Maureen too. Two crappy leaders that history should flush like the turds that they are.
When you look back at many of the absolutely ridiculous decisions this company has made through the years, those two are behind many of them.

No one will be going to jail. They will pay a fine, admit to no wrong doing, and things will go back to business as usual. Rules are for other people

What do you think is going on? The rats are jumping off the ship they destroyed. I hope karma catches each and every one of them.
A bunch of losers that were allowed by another bunch of losers, called the board of directors, to keep their jobs. Dentsply has underperformed for a decade, if not longer. However, these individuals (wise and Clark in particular) bank accounts have not underperformed at all. Nor have the boards. Vote them all out on your next opportunity.

a company ran by low class common thieves. Bottom line- they were Stealing from families all across the globe. Stealing our futures. Stealing our retirement. Stealing from our children and grandchildren. Dentsply Sirona-the Dental Enron Company.
If you have the addresses or phone numbers of these executives, please post them.

Dental Enron Company? That's impressive. Executives sell mass shares over the last year, take the golden parachute escape hatch while under SEC investigation, cut pay to EO reps, miss the boat on market trends telling customers what they need while refusing to bring what they want. Good thing they brought on Henry Schein to save the day. Those guys really know how to sell and support a high end technology manufacturer.
