Ditto. Plus who left and where'd they go?! And wtf is going on? Stock is tanking, people leaving, being picked off ... when's the bleeding going to stop?

Who left or was fired in Nashville? Reps or management?

the gig is up. The market has figured out how shitty this place has been run for so long and all the execs are running to preserve what's left of their shit reputation.

with the stock hovering $.02 above the 1 year low today, ending a little higher, and trending downward for the past few weeks and for the foreseeable future, what's really left for the execs to do but finally commit corporate suicide and just sell out to Schein or whomever already. The stock keeps going this way, layoffs and the nitwits in MN will be the least of concerns.

Most casual investors might look at the new stock low and think it might be a sound investment, surely it's going to rebound, right? Nope, this ship is sunk. Usually a proactive board would have seen this mess coming and would have cut off the head long ago and replaced it with a real leader who would have smoked out that infected mess of rats.

Instead, they simply let the head fall off and no one out there will be able to fix this disaster. It's over

Even casual investors are going to turn away if they do any research at all. Looking at the trends over the last year and they'll know the stocks a turd and isn't a good buy. I just wonder, truly wonder if the various divisional directors and corporate officers and even the board itself truly believe the shit they say or if they even have a conciense... it would seem that they don't and really dont care either. God may save the queen but he isn't saving Patterson.

I'm a mfg rep that called on the Chicago branch. They were a hard working committed group of sales reps. Chicago branch is still there but barely. It use to be the top branch in the country for almost 10 years in a row. The Good Ol Boys Club is what killed it. Branch manager Plaaman riding the coattails of his father who was an excellent manager. No one would fire him because he was in the club, until Patterson found out the top reps were leaving. Rogan, Anderson, Mieshak, and many others are in the club. Pretty soon the only people left will be the Good Ol Boys sitting around wondering what happened, where did everyone go. Sales team was trying to get upper management to see the problem, but they were just marked as complainers. Then some regional guy named Trotta gets wind that the top reps were thinking about going to an upcoming independent company. You would think he would want to at least have interviews to hear what the problems were. My understanding was that not one rep was asked to do an exit interview. In other words, they don't care. Almost all the reps that left were with Patterson for at least 15 years and up to over 30 years. Most of the reps did 2.5 million and UP! Trotta's idea to get reps to stay was to make them sign a non compete or you're fired. That backfired because then reps that weren't leaving decided to go too. Because if Patterson continued to go down the toilet, they would be stuck going down with it. He offered to guarantee their wages for two years. Oops, that didn't include your 401K that was 6% but now is .25%. Those that stayed just got screwed out of 5.75% of their benefits. Patterson has been cutting commissions for a long time. It's sad to see what was once the company everyone wanted to work for turning into the company that people can't leave fast enough. On a positive note, I understand all the reps love the new company. Well, at least I get to call on them at their new company.

Trotta, like most of the titled up YES men who got the roles of Regional President or manager what have you, were mostly douchebags. They willl continue to hang on or cling to the little life left this shithole has become because of them.

Nothing these idiots can dream up will save the company. Why? Because they're greed has has been clouding their judgement and the industry is better off without Patterson. Go work for a more agile startup that actually cares about customers.

You're out of line on Trotta; not a douche. Believe me, he's a stand up guy. Yes man, probably. If he met a defecting sales team with non-competes, I can absolutely assure you that wasn't of his choosing. Misiak acts like a playground bully with his lieutenants and was obviously behind this. The culture among the MN mafia isn't very kind to anyone questioning his absolute authority. None of these regionals have the stones to square up on him - career suicide. We're taking on water. Run his ass off the plank before Siroworld! Let him clamor for the life raft with the Sirona execs under investigation for securities fraud. Viva Las Vegas.

Thoughts on Trotta... Work in his region and he joked about firing a Cerec specialist at a sales meeting. Best part of this story after the laugh shrugs his shoulders and says wouldn't want to be him going home to explain this to his family.. I think COCK proper fit.....

True but name one Regional that isn't. Not to mention the dozens of lap dog GM's out there. They're all wanting to retain their 6 figure salaries so they are going to say and do whatever they think they must to keep from being fired. Doesn't make them less douchey but that's the reality we're all facing.
