HELP!!!!!!!

I have my manager this Wednesday and Thursday..all day.....both days. I've got nothing going on. Tough access territory. The four physicians that normally see me are gone on vacation. I've got nothing, no lunches. What the hell can I do?

 

You have my deepest sympathy. Thats a terrible situation to be in. Is your manager a jerk? If not just tell him or her that nothing special is going on so we are just going to cold call these offices together FOR TWO DAYS. geez I'm getting sick typing this to you. I hate ride alongs. you cant be yourself and you have this person in your car for 8 hours which seems like eternity. I am really hoping that your manager is a decent human being. some of them are awful. that's all I got. All the best to you

 

Hes not too bad. A little hyper and type a but not vindictive. I like the cold call idea to kill time. The worst part of this job is stupid field rides. Ugh

 

do your job better and prepare?

 

The field rides is why I quit the industry after 23 years...who wants to be treated like a kid when you
are in your 50s?

stupid industry...dumb job.

Oh man I can relate I have my manager with me Monday and Tuesday of next week and I am dreading it. It just happened to be a bad week I don't have any lunches either day of your life positions are out on vacation I'm thinking I will just stall him and bring my computer see if he wants to do some analytics or something. The other bad thing for me is my guy does not like to eat dinner alone so he always wants me to have dinner with him like I don't have anything better to do

 

Maybe you can visit some hospitals and see if there is interest in doing in-services for any of the in-patient floors
