Taro Pharma buyout by Sun Pharma

Taro is being run by Sun but it is still an independent company.

Has anyone heard of the rumors that Sun will be buying out the remaining stake in Taro? Taro is run by Sun but if the buyout happens, what will happen?

Should we be worried?

 

So is it worth interviewing here?

 

I don't know. I wish the management tells us the plan. We are a Israeli company managed by an Indian company for the past few years. Why don't they just buy Taro and tell us we are working for Sun. Kal moved back to sun. Not sure what Gandhi has on mind.

 

ghandi plan is to devalue taro to the point where Dilip can but the remaining shares at a huge discount bc the 'taro' people will have thrown in the towel.

Shady at best.

 

That's why several high level managers left recently.

 

Only interview if you do not have a job. It has been the biggest mistake of my career and I was a fool for coming here. The environment and culture is horrible. The company has ZERO integrity. Embarrassed to work here.

 

I have started noticing that. How is RA to work with (north east)? I don't think I will make any bonus without being dishonest. Do most of you feel the same?

 

So do they not pay out the bonus quarterly?

 

Yeah we will see who takes the wrath next week when Dill Pickle comes to town. The lies, the finger pointing, how dare you. SAP and Model N are abortions, you created the monster sir. FIX IT!

 

Where do you see things heading by year end? Does anyone feel it is better for Taro and Sun to be one company. At least there will be no ambiguity on who is running the show and may be the sales and marketing leadership will stabilize.

Sun Pharma is waiting for Taro's stock to drop-then buy it. It is still valued way to high, went it was only a few dollars a share a couple years ago. Sun owns just over 50% of Taro's stock, thats why they are calling the shots

 

Everyone points fingers at the other company right now. No one takes responsibility for what needs to be done, so they take the easy way out and blame the other company. Sometimes, one company doesn't even know what their counterparts at the other company are supposed to do, so there is overlap and duplication.
They just centralized IT to India, but are keeping legal and finance here. Good luck trying to integrate Model N with SAP now. But, let's have another ice cream social to forget all this! So yes, it is better to run as one company.

 

If Sun does not want to buy Taro then may be they should solicit bids from outside. At least this will allow us to know how we are supposed to work for. I am not in sales but these guys are making life miserable with their lousy leadership.

 

Yeah and shared services is sticking a cucumber in our vaginas.

 

I don't work for her but she seems to be nice.

 

Last quarter's results were horrible. Good luck getting a bonus and raise in March if this keeps up.

 

I am hearing rumors that mgmt is getting ready to completely integrate Taro under Sun before year end. Anyone hearing similar stuff or are my ears ringing? At least they can stop playing the blame game pointning fingers between them.
