I think this company is due for a class action lawsuit. Anyone else agree with me?

This company has a few lawsuits currently. I am sure with the jerk reactions they have, they will dig themselves into many holes. They are not a company for the employees. They will look at your GPS and you calls and compare. Don't think you will be given any leeway.. This company is would up tight.. They don't pay bonuses and want you to work hourly job here. This may look like a salary job, but it is 8-5... This right here is a class action lawsuit. Other major Pharma companies have been sued for this and lost!!!

So wait? What do you mean they compare calls to GPS- wouldn't that match up anyway tho? Or are you not allowed to make extra stops or something ? And is 8-5 not acceptable for a salary job, sometimes I work more than that where I am but didn't know that was ground for a lawsuit..

You must not know the industry. You can't have it both ways. It's either a salary job or an hourly job. You can't make people sign a document that they work 8-5 and then start meetings before 8 or having working lunches or do dinner programs or fly to meetings on Sundays. Do national meetings etc. Huge lawsuits have been won because companies can't have it both ways. Do your research for yourself

Is all of this still accurate regarding the culture, vacation, trackers, etc?? I'm interviewing and being told things are on the right road and getting better. True?

thjngs definitely have been changing for the better- there was just huge turnover In the spring/summer but things have slowed. I think a lot of the talk on here is people that have left or been fired.. GPS are still here, but not a huge problem that people are going on about. Management has been making effort to communicate better with field, they host calls and have been giving recognition to high performers and IC payouts have gotten better too. Maybe ask if you can chat with a current rep as part of interview process?

Thank you so much for your response! I don't usually put a lot of stock in these posts but they sure seemed consistent. I really appreciate your feedback!

I don't care what that other person said to your question.. If you were smart you would do your own research.. The culture is the same. The same person is heading it.. They might have a new Regional but the VP of sales is the same. They don't care about the employee's.. If they did they wouldn't have the turn over. They burn them and churn them.. This company is consistent as far as turn over. They have trackers who does that.. They look at your iPads to make sure you are putting in your calls after the call. They track how many times you open your iPad.. What pages you use etc.. They micro-manage the hell out of you.. They have terrible benefits.. Ask them about there sick time. If you are sick you have to use a vacation day.. God forbid you get sick.. They have 5 year vesting before you get a 401 K match.. This is a 70 year old drug with a expensive oral pill they took from Generic to branded They keep talking about a new drug and that has been going on a long time.. It's all talk. They will fire people for not putting your call in accurately.. Making an expense mistake. No warning just fire you.. There are several lawsuits right now against Lupin.. DO your own research before coming here. I have nothing to gain from telling you the truth.. Just being honest and trying to help people from making a life changing nightmare career move!!!

Wondering what has changed.. They have always had there monthly calls.. As far as IC payouts.. They have 2 people at 100%.. the other 28 are below 80.. What is wrong with there quota system? You don't even know how you are tracking majority of the time until it's too late. Culture is the same. Trackers are a problem. They monitor every thing you do during the day. Same thing the iPad does. Basically you have your manager with you 24/7.. Because of IPAD AND TRACKER..... The reason people check Cafe Pharma is to get an accurate account of the company that is in question... Sure there are people on here that are misguided. Sure there are negative remarks.. I really can't think of any reason why you would leave your company for this company. It would be like jumping from a fire into a frying pan.. Stay where your at unless you don't have a job..

This company has not changed. The culture is the same.. The reason why there has not been much turn over is because 95% of the people are new.. They have been with the company less than 4 months.. There still is the Tracker. iPad Tracker, old drug, Quota system where they can't get the sales right. 95% of the people are below 90%.. They have always had monthly calls.. The difference is they have a new RSD that is more encouraging.. But the VP is still the same.. and thus lies the shitty culture.. The same poor benefits.. Ask to speak to a sales rep that has been employed at least a year and see what they say.. But you have to ask yourself why are they consistently having turn over..????

so one good amoung so SO many bad... glad I checked here so I can ask the interviewer about it all. How many of you still work there? It seems y’all have a lot of current info but if it’s that bad, why are YOU still there?

Well, there are many reasons I am sure why out of 30 there are about 7 left.. The new hires are starting out at $65,00-$80,000.. The 7 make over $120,000.. How easy is it to find a job with the amount in salary difference. Also think about how many openings there are ? You have to look for a specific job in a specific area in a specific field.. Then you have to research the company. Just like you are doing right now.. There are many reasons why the 7 people are still looking. If the right job comes along they will leave. You can't jump from one job to the next if it isn't right. I can tell you, it is a lot easier finding a job at 65,000 vs over 120,000..

Many are gone because they were not working, hence not meeting bonus, and violating government enforced compliance issues.

That is not correct. AS far as making Bonus.. There were only a couple people this last quarter at 100%.. All of last year no one was at 100%.. 99% were at 60 to 70 %.. That is a fact. There were a few people fired for not entering calls. one was fired for an expense violation. None were given warnings. They were fired. So that was three. So as far as the other 20.. they left on there own free will. Based on all the information given in Cafe Pharma.. FYI the people that got fired for not entering calls correctly have filed a lawsuit..

This^^^! There's been a true shift over the past few months, the old call average with the original reps was like 2 calls /day and now it's over the asked "min" of 6. General attitude is way more positive and the new NSD is leaps and bounds better than the old one.

I agree....The people on here complaining either need to get a job or a life

There is no one complaining.. They are staying the facts to the questions... Nothing has been exaggerated... As far as an improvement.. The new RSD has been more encouraging.. As far as call average it's always been 6.. And they don't count all the calls in the hospital.. They only count that as 1 so that is wrong too..

Look at the amount they give you to pay your cell bill and your internet.. The lowest in the industry.. Look at the fact after almost two years there just now giving out computers.. It may be improving slightly.. But it has a very long way to go..
