Anyone have insight as to the order of operation?

    Geography
    Performance
    Tenure

What happens to PC3 reps who cover multiple territories?

Yes, insider here, bottom line the first criteria is 1) Salary, the higher the salary we will get you out of here. 2) Age and how long you been with Lillys...We cannot afford to have pensions in the future and in fact we can't let employees retire with pensions because in the long run, Lilly just can't afford them. SO the Criteria is the more you make and if you are close to a pension we really need to get you off the books. This is survival of all Pharma companies and especially Lilly currently, we are just too old but getting younger fast.

I get the rationale. However, how do you legally "cook the books" for HR to demonstrate they didn't practice targeted selection? We were told tenure and performance would be two main criteria. I suppose, there could be a manipulation of words...meaning, tenure could include the reverse and getting rid of folks who have been here longest and paid generously. Any more insights?

If you don't take the payout now, you'll just get caught up in the next round of reallocations. DR promised a 50/50 OPEX/Revenue. Only three ways to get there, significantly increase revenue, significantly decrease opex or a combination of those two. He's promising big bucks in R&D so that's an INCREASED expense. Bari is on a shelf and even if approved now is a me to treatment that carries baggage. Migraines treatment is a me to drug but shows promise for clusters but is late 2019 at best.
Diabetes competitor just got great data on cardio and cholesterol indications. That's going to cut market share for that unit.

If you can find an area of significant revenue growth near term go for it and hang on tight. Quite the gamble imho.

Bingo you have it exactly correct.. if you followed this closely over the past 5 years, you will notice all the OFWW,s are gone except for the last ones in Diabetes and the other divisions. Each, because of their supa high salaries will be gone by April 1, same timeline as the last 4 years. Take the offer and run if you are age 49.5 and high salaried. My other prediction is no mo pensions, because the mellinial will never last 25 years. Lilly won't let em get there anyway.

I left Lilly many years ago. I never seen so many complacency in my life. All my friends who have stayed only work 10-2 and collect a pay check. Nobody care about their bonuses. Anyone that has stayed with company for too long will have a hard time to get a good job because everyone knows that the reps are lazy. Time to go back to work butter cakes.

WoW what has happened to this company since DR came in to the USA. All he talks about is his Chinese hill people vs plains people. He feels we all need to be more diverse and things w Lillys has turned to Krap. DR go back to that commie country and take the Hills people with you. Your terrible.
