SMALL indeed, about an inch or two shorter than the terminated bridge troll, Matt K. Let's hope DC is perp-walked out the door as well, and soon.

Were you recently laid-off by this soulless organization? My condolences for your loss.

This thread is spot on! DC and GB have to go. They have done tremendous damage with their misguided leadership. The board needs to understand how horrible these two have been in taking the company beyond the distributor model. DC was let go from J&J for a reason, he sucked. Usually this is not going to change over time. If a company the size off J&J see's how much DC sucked, why and how the heck would GB not see that too? Simple, he is a blind leader riding off the hard work of his employees. But the really sad part is that he is also uncommitted to bettering the organization. He is in it only for himself, greed, and to prance around periodically like an ass in front of people to brag how he poorly manages one of the largest companies no one has ever hear of... GB, people just don't give a shit. Leave.

Since George is a sock-puppet controlled by the Machiavellian DC, both should be released. However, DC is indeed the more dangerous, more imminent threat of the two to the welfare of CAH. Would be nice if DC were let go to cast ruination upon one of our competitors as he's already done enough to stunt our future profitability. GB thrills to flashing his dopey grin and dispensing his bullshit on CNBC to the detriment of taking care of our future. Once DC is walked out the door with his tote in tow, maybe, GB will be next? Let's hope.

Do you really think Don cares about you or any of us? When it comes to lay-offs, FY18 will be a banner year for them. The full impact of Medtronic merger will be far worse than any of us can imagine. It would be wise to dust off and update The Resume just in case we're chosen for the dust bin. Wasn't Mr. Casey fired from J&J before we got stuck with him?

Quiet layoffs have already started in my division, and my divisions was one of those that was supposed to be the least impacted.

ARE THE SCUM BAGS ORDERING THESE LAY-OFFS ASKING THAT THE CHALLENGER SALE BOOKS BE RETURNED TO CORPORATE? ANOTHER WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY MANDATED BY CASEY AND FIENDS.

Do you feel comfortable naming your division? In any event, good luck. As an older sales rep I was badgered by my RM into leaving Cardinal in FY17 (HR couldn't have cared less by this person's behavior). The dirt bag I worked for likes younger reps and I did not fit his/her model of perfection. This manager hired a much younger person to take my place. Luckily I landed on my feet and much happier away from the corrosive Cardinal culture. Unfortunately, everyone is at risk at Cardinal due to the reckless senior management in Dublin: young, old, male, female, white, black.

Badgered to leave Corrosive Cardinal Culture...amen. I recall Carey Clark as CEO even remarked CAH needed younger people..my boss told me he thought this was illegal the way the culture pushed older workers out. Some of their young stars pushed others out and stock has done nothing but TANK. HR useless and Board complacent.

Cardinal HR people are the puppets of management--trust them and you become their next victim. Kudos to you for a great post!

Ken Langone from Home Depot fame is a role model for thousands of people. As an entrepreneur and philanthropist very few people have done more to better the lives of people in this country, especially what he's doing now to help with the Texas tragedy. Compare the empty suits running Cardinal to the intellectual elegance of Mr. Langone-too depressing to ponder. If only we had leaders one quarter as gifted as Langone instead of self-serving arrogant incompetents

Thank you for bringing up the subject of persecution of older workers. It is insidious that this evil form of discrimination still thrives in America and at CAH. Cardinal is especially complicit in allowing their managers to continue this evil if they want to. I know that quite a few older sales reps disappeared in the Northeast during the past 18 months and were replaced by kids. One hooked up with a direct competitor as a consultant and wreaked some havoc on Cardinal. Karma is a B-Atch!

You older folks are spoiled, lazy and overpaid. You're a financial drag on the whole company and the newbies outperform you and do it for way less salary and bene's.

Would you like to euthanize us old folks? So the still youthful DC isn't spoiled with benefits and extremely overpaid? He's a key reason CAH stock is under performing and so many of us are facing an uncertain future. And when folks start disappearing to compensate for his dumb business decisions, the newbies are gonna be ash-canned, too. Talk about a drag on our company, can you say DC? And throw in MD, too.

Look at the Scoreboards for the last couple of years. Across the Business Units older reps have performed quite well finishing near the top or winning National Sales Awards. I bet you also feel there are too many Asians, African-Americans, Hispanics, and Women here, too, even though mysteriously very few are in key leadership positions. No mystery about it, that's the way the "bosses" want it.

Cardinal should not be so arrogant to think AMAZON could not enter in a big way med device dist. OM and Medline may be more attractive targets for acquisition to Amazon ( less complex and may easier to deal with their mgmt. teams).

    From
September 14, 2015 through today the per share price of CAH has dropped 17.82% while during this same time-frame the S&P 500 average has gained 27.83%. Why do we still have the same dimwits in Dublin running this Fortune 15 company? When will the Board wake up and dispose of the obvious dead-wood impeding the success of our company? When will they dispose of those who have made such horrible business decisions and ruined so many careers these past 24 months? All of this carnage has been done with impunity. If you as a sales rep performed this poorly during the last 24 months, what do you think would happen? In fact, even if you perform well there is no guarantee you'll keep your job as "leadership" needs to cut head count to recoup the dollars their stupid decisions have lost. Investing in CAH is a waste of money. Does anyone out there even give a damn?

Cardinal stock has been up for a few days in a row. Is DC out sick? GB? Both?

"There is nothing worse in this universe than aggressive stupidity" (attributed to Goethe). This explains the actions of GB and DC and their moronic business decisions--especially the purchases of Medtronic, Cordis, and Innovative Therapies.

How true! You can throw in a few AVPs and RMs in sales, too.

George earned 11 million large in FY17--how much did you earn? How big was your merit increase going into FY18? Did you get 1.5%, maybe? How were our earnings in FY17? How did our stock perform in FY17? GB was worth every penny, or was he?
