Virology division end date??

In a few weeks, that entire division, and hopefully this thread, will be retired.

 

Apparently reports of Virology's death have been greatly exaggerated.

Not this one. Its over in less than a month. And NO ONE is working until then, so it's essentially already dead.

I have never heard a word about virology division. Pretty shocking to know they are part of the company, albeit only for a few more weeks, apparently. How many people are in that doomed place?

 

Change occurs at a glacial speed. People happy to collect a paycheck for as long as it takes the company to change course.

 

Neither has upper management. They are blissfully unaware. Meanwhile the MPD team keeps cashing in.

DONE. Time to retire all virology posts. Two companies are left in the HIV space and a couple others are looking desperately for crumbs. Same for HCV, whose run was a tiny drop in the bucket in comparison. And some truly inept losers completely blew it with HBV.

 

Virology still going strong, legacy continues.

 

Kindberg is not coming back to save this dead franchise......it's been dead since the start of HCV a few years ago.

 

Lindberg listened to people and ran a mostly happy crew. After he left, the primary care losers came in and the "specialty" label was erased and replaced with robotic sales reps. Some truly despicable people came and went, and unfortunately some of these d-bags are still lurking around, including the HCV do-nothings.

 

"Lindberg"/Kindberg, all the same. This is spot on, the changes all went to crap in the 2004 timeframe. Sad that there were loyal reps who never got out of their own way hoping for the old days to come back. Good luck to them trying to re-engineer themselves after being complacent for so long.....

 

The division certainly ended with a whimper, not a bang.
