    Meeting at hotels during work hours to sleep with your manager. One way to get promoted above your counterparts! Everyone involved is married. Spouses might suspect but soon enough Merck finds out the details.

    Problem is with Merck corporate values (the REAL ones, not the bogus ones you read on HR website about integrity, sexual harassment not tolerated, etc) the manager will get a big HIGH FIVE, pay raise, promotion, and the rep will be called to a hotel room not for a sex tryst, but a meet with security and legal, sign this or we will destroy you mandate, and cab fare for a way home. HR and ethics hotline is ONLY THERE to be informed about corporate liability early on and then take out any low hanging personnel associated for damage control. REPS CANNOT TRUST HR, ETHICS, LEGAL, etc. The reps involved need to get counsel now (manager at fault here) or find another job asap. This is ugly truth of Merck under KF 'how can we screw the families of Vioxx victims we lied to and even killed' .

    Many Merck gals in CA couldn't find a man in the real world so they bed then wed Merck managers. Some are dumb as a box of rocks and rarely work in territory. No action is taken as other managers don't want to call out a fellow ctl's inept spouse, turn the ole blind eye. Another reason Merck is dying on the vine. Once arrogant and admired, now ripe to be acquired, Merck is not in a favorable position right now, read the financials carefully.

    Funny how people on this site often say 'get your affairs in order', now 'affairs' has a double meaning. And you mention the West? Of course, that is why it is called the Western Fuc#tier Region.

    Merck could give a crap about this scenario. The only way a manager will get in trouble is if he/she didn't select a Merck preferred hotel on the Merck travel booking tool. Under business purpose for travel remember to select the drop-down box stating routine business/delislinger banging. Bahaaabahaaa

    I have viewed many of the left coast skags and I for one wouldn't stick my stiletto into the std saturated body part. What would be optimal is if all land west of the Rockies become sea floor property and the fishes feed in bulk.

    This is OK so long as both parties document this as part of their EDP' s.

    Chalk it up to role play. CA Merck staff are in a state of disarray, organized chaos in the field. HR, get on a plane and please head West, the Western Frontier Region needs help pronto. Bring some lawyers with you too. Top to bottom we need HR intervention, shit show to say the least. Another quit today!!!!

    Don't blame Cahill for this, he inherited this mess and spends his free time as Paul Blart Mall Cop. Davidodick left this place in shambles by not firing or hiring the right people. She spent too much time sipping wine with her nerd blogger husband in Napa while the region imploded. Now she is corrupting the vaccine division as she has brought over her PC trash cronies to ruin that franchise as well [stewart].
    These ass hats will surely move over to Oncology once they F up the vaccine franchise. Hey, why not do a quick layover in women's health and do some damage there? Heard missy prissy Stewart is going for bruiser palombos old job, now that's funny. Amazing how a shitty SP sales rep can finagle through the ranks by lying and shitting over people. I can't wait to leave this western frontier toilet bowl.

    this is hilarious and true. Manager bangs married rep, rep goes to work for different division because things went south. Now she hates her new position and is willing to come back and kiss the ctls ass.

    There are a couple of gals who left the vaccine division to transfer to the oncology and women's health divisions and soon those divisions will be messed up too. They were worthless in the vaccine division and would have been fired if they didn't transfer out.

    Grow up will you. Uncertain times causes people to turn on each other, quit blaming others and take charge. Leave if you don't like it here, don't berate others.

    You have a few weeks left so you might as well sleep in make a couple of calls and end your days early. It's too late now, calls are coming. If you haven't made preparations it's simply too late. Enjoy working at McDonald's or Taco Bell.

    I thought so, gals in Sac are almost ready to collect social security they are so old. The thought of any type of hotel rendezvous there grosses me out.

    You had me at first, think a there got together with a manager years ago and they got married! Yuck, is that even allowed?
