Quotas for second half

It doesn't follow logic. Bioventus would only hurt themselves and we know why. The numbers reveal that tenured reps are carrying the load quota wise. It's the new hires that prevent the company from reaching its objectives, to a large degree. Bioventus needs relationships and experience to carry Gelsyn.

Potential new hires read the message boards and they would realize Bioventus is not a place to stay long. This would feed into the "churn and burn" and there are plenty of case studies of where those companies end up.

Did we rely on the "outside consultants" that never sold a day in their life again? The same group that is responsible for many successful reps leaving the company due to concocting 2016 comp plan that made little sense? Did we not learn from the past?

Some of the former successful Bioventus
Sales Representatives are currently selling against us and word they are royally kicking our butts in certain territories. I don't think the company can afford more defections.

It all relative. When a top rep leaves, a mid rep suddenly becomes a top rep. I know that's may be too much for you to follow but its called lowering the bar.

Says the mid rep that wants somebody's job.

Bioventus fails without relationships, tenure and experience. And it doesn't explain how fromer top Bioventus reps selling inferior e stims run laps around Bioventus mid seasoned Reps.

Nope sorry... when I said 18 I was referring 6+ years of tenure

This would apply even more if the non compete wasn't in place. The non compete protects Bioventus from skilled / tenured reps eating less seasoned reps alive. Regardless, it's not enforceable in many states as stated above.

I fully agree with #17-- this is a shit show. They have successfully canned lots of top reps and then new reps come in and have never been able to recover the territory. they just keep hiring ASR's and "sales" reps so they don't have to pay higher salaries. I have seen this happen all over the country. The reason sales are down is because they got rid of all the reps with tenured relationships. My docs say they will use whatever I sell them- not specific product. They know I work and if I sold a competitor they would use it in a heart beat.
This company is all talk until they screw you...

Why are you waiting around? With all those great relationships, why haven't you left yet?

Who says I haven't? Have you? Where can you go and make more $$?

If you have then go to your new job board. Put Bioventus behind you bro.

Agreed... this is what amazes me.... there are so many ex employees who are bitter and cannot let go. For those of you ex employees everything is ok... go to your new job and spew negativity on that site. Good luck!

I departed BV in 2016 with years under my belt and many friends in the trenches. It breaks my heart to see how the business has soured in several ways, but especially for AHT sales. For those old-school reps still in the field, I just want to say I'm thinking about you. I hope you're able to find success, one way or another, despite the setbacks and chaos. Good luck, y'all!

Even though it's been roughly six years since joining Bioventus, I followed your lead and went to my previous jobs CF board and posted a comment. Like you, I posted my heart goes out to those still employeed. I hope people are inspired about my comment as we are with yours.

Seems like there are some VERY defensive DoS's (I'm pretty sure I know who one is as he uses a lot of the same high-school level language in his emails and 'presentations', if one can call them that) or maybe HR folk that blame any negative comment on 'ex employees'.

What pisses me off isn't former/ex reps chiming in, it's my DOS with a medical device side gig, giving me sh!t about company policy when I missed quota for the first time in months. I hope GM stops protecting this a-hole and does his job by getting rid of him. He's gotta know. I've had it and if nothing happens, I'm blowing the lid.

They know about the side gigs and don't care.
