I am currently interviewing for an Organogenesis TSR position. I am looking for honest feed back. I've read other threads just listing a bunch of negative stuff. Is that for real? I'm just asking for honest feedback on avg. total comp. company culture. Stability. Etc...
Please help me decide whether to join or not.

    Thanks

The other threads are spot on. You will commit career suicide by coming here. Miserable place to be and will only get worse when our PPAM can no longer cushion our high quotas.

Can you give me a ballpark income for an underdeveloped territory

Income will be your salary, period. Especially in a territory without consistent business. You will be broke your first year.

Company does not base a quota off of previous territory performance. They have a specific per day sales and if you can't hit that you will be on a plan 3 months out of training.

West Coast? Turn over rate on the west coast has been extreme. The company can't even keep their west coast Regional Sales Managers. They have gone through 8 or 9 in the past 5 years. As for the TRS, I think there are only two in So Cal that have been there for over 5 years ... the remainder of the west coast people are either 1 to 2 years new or are interviewing with other companies. Most of them are on refocus plans. If you're looking for stability on the west coast and if you're looking to make money on the west coast then you're seriously looking in the wrong place.

If Kara is your potential boss, I wouldn't even entertain any more interviews. She has her team filling out spread sheets of where they are at all hours of the day and even though the company expects 3 SFE's she wants her team to be at 10 so she can look like a shining star. Not to mention, she gets paid on them.

You will is miserably micromanaged under her!

25% of the work force at the OI West site were laid off yesterday. Mostly top-heavy salary roles such as directors and managers (plus a few lower level personnel). I suspect this was in store for months, the writing was on the walls from bare bones staffing and extremely short lead times on ordering actual manufactuing materials (the company only decides to have one vendor for materials *who does that*). Just throwing caution to the wind.

"Right?!? Do you know what I'm saying?" Is about the most intelligent thing Kara can come up with... and she'll say it over and over. At a meeting in FL when she was presenting, I counted "right" 45 times in less than a half an hour...

I have people calling me saying their recruiters are telling them that they are going to make $200K their first year....
Not with the current training department, not with the current man child Mohawk running sales, not with the Turtle on the fence and he’s not so inspiring messages. You will make your salary and that’s all.

Also, heard the company isn’t going to update any PPAM until 2nd quarter ‘18. And just what do you think is going to happen to your business for those 2 quarters that the doctors are underwater???

    Still laughing at you OI

Really OI. So let me get this straight... we are going to deeply discount our larger sizes, so much so that we sales men will be crucified by our currently using/buying customers. Then in the same breath we are going to have to tell them that the tiny little non-significant sizes will cost them more. And our explanation is going to have to be.... so we could even out our bottom line?!?!? Are you fucking serious? You greedy fucks need to take a pay cut yourselves if you are worried about our bottom line. Wow. This company is run by clowns. Fucking clowns.

Yes, I agree. Awful is such a polite way of describing this company.

Run fast and far away from this place. I am sure many reps are looking for something better where you are appreciated for your efforts and sales.
