Anyone else think the BPO is corrupt? Leadership is terrible

The BPO is for the benefit of the company not you. The employees have been sold into believing the BPO will bring help and support. If you read old posts on Cafe you will understand this is not the case. The BPO gathers info to prevent lawsuits and act likes they care to make the employee feel their issue was important and resolved. If you have an issue that you deem was illegal, seek outside legal advice and do not go to BPO!!!!

1000% agreed. They are only looking out to keep Novartis from getting sued. Will sweep your case under the rug. You are better off hiring an attorney for sure!

Agreed. The process is flawed. If there is an issue you are better served to seek outside help. Tom is a clown and the BPO panel are incompetent. Especially Virginia. Useless. She has no clue

The entire process is a joke! No due process but a bunch of clowns covering their asses.

yes ! Seek outside help !! If you are the "subject" they won't let you have a lawyer. I have to believe the whole process is illegal and would not hold up in a court of law ... but what do I know

Why do they always target sales reps? Guy who runs the BPO makes shit up to make it look like he is doing something for the company.

The concerning part for me is the lack of transparency. Never hear back after you are interviewed. I guess that may be a good thing but I was a witness.

I agree. The process is not transparent at all. They act like they are above board but I was involved as a witness and it was not a pleasant experience. I have heard the BPO needs certain numbers and they get what they want.

BPO needs their numbers. Just hope you are not a statistic. Best kept secret at Novartis. All for show so the US Atty doesn't give us a 3rd CIA.

BPO targets the sales force. ADS and expense reports give them numbers. Be careful with your call entries too.

The reason they target reps is corporate CYA. If NVS can show that compliance violations are just rougue individuals acting badly on their own, NVS will not be fined as severely and the rep will be terminated to demonstrate that NVS is committed to integrity.

BPO needs numbers to report because of the CIA. The guy who runs the BPO knows the game. He looks for low hanging fruit and starts an investigation

There is a Barney Fife out of Texas that thinks he is so smart. His questions are just a bunch leading questions w/ no purpose except but to endorse a kangaroo system. If you get one of these conference calls just say "I don't know to everything" it doesn't matter they are going to try to pin something on you anyway.

This department is the Gestapo of Novartis. A very toxic company.
