I'm new to Novartis and wondering how most think this will effect bonuses? Has Novartis done this before? If so, in general, what were the results on bonuses?
Please tell me you are fucking kidding? Novartis has never done the right thing with their reps. There has been nothing but change since day one with Entresto including territory alignments, messaging, comp plan, leadership, budgets and sales techniques. So yes - if there is a way to pay us less, they just found it. You have to be rocket science to understand this new fucking plan.
Prepare for more changes come Jan. You really do not understand the plan? It's really not that hard. Well just a little We have a baseline for Entresto and CHF market. The company believes both will grow. If baseline for E is 1,000 and they believe the CHF market will grow by 10% then baselines move to 1,100. Then the company wants Entresto to grow by 40%. That puts the new number at 1,540. This is done at a District level. Payout doesn't start until 75% to goal (I think, can't remember right now and too lazy to look). Good luck
I love it here but I'm in neuroscience and don't call on primary care Dr.'s like you cardio folks do. The true specialty sale teams here are great and are treated well. I heard Derm is good too.
the payout curves will make it hard to make much money. The goals are already pretty aggressive and will have to hit them just to make avg psyout. Going to have to grow at least 75% off of baseline to make a decent bonus
75% growth is unrealistic. Currently only 10% of the field is growing at that rate and the more we sell, the lower the % growth. NVS just wants to fuck us all over by not paying!
Yeah I'm sure upper management sits around thinking how they can screw reps on bonus. Stop being a douche bag.
