that's because all you do is complain. how about start working instead of trolling an anonymous forum bitching about everything. start taking responsibility for yourself for a change.

You are a whiny sissy loser. I work hard at Applied and do ok. Stop bitching, grow up, and be glad to have a job, even if it does not fit your petty, pretentious little world.

This company should be removed from this board. They are an engineering company not a medical device company.

This is the stupidest argument ever posted on here. So just because Applied is an engineering focused company, rather than a sales or marketing focused, it should be removed?

    Truly and idiot

Although I agree that Applied Medical I should be removed from this board, I do not believe with the reason why. If the company gets removed, where else am I going to go for comic relief? Reading the posts and rants about how terrible this company is makes my days when I am feeling down!!!!!

"Truly and idiot". Hey moronic mental midget. Before you make comments about others being idiots, check in at the door with your own vacancy space in the head.

No, there's more to it but I didn't feel the need to elaborate. Applied has nothing more to offer other than ports. All other "devices" have fractional market share. No clip applier and no energy device just a bunch of talk about reducing healthcare costs, vertical integration, and saving those poor customers from the big bad Medtronic/Ethicon that rape and pillage them. Since you've only been in the industry for less than two years and only worked for Applied I forgive you for your ignorance. It's not your fault you actually believe their garbage story. Don't bother responding with some rant about Voyant. You're so late to the game by the time it works it will be obsolete. That goes for the surgical stapler market too....

Applied has nothing more to offer than ports? You must not have been here long and obviously were low level. What company do you work for now? Can't wait to hear what game changing technology you're selling...

What does Applied offer other than ports? Please don't tell me a specimen bag, disposable instruments, or wound retractors. The fact that you even think these items matter further proves my point. Gel??? That's laughable. They would have been better off selling that special sauce to the sex toy industry when they had the chance. That fits right into their "California" company culture.

Wow, you consider specimen bags, disposable instruments, wound retractors, and energy devices ports? No wonder you couldn't cut it here. Still waiting to hear where you work now and what game changing technology you sell.

I'm also calling you out on where you work now. What items are you selling now that "matter?" I bet you had a short run at Applied because you couldn't sell any of the products you're so quick to shoot down. Please prove us wrong.

Applied has changed the medical device industry with our innovation and Said's visionary leadership. We are the market leader in trocars, retrieval bags and wound protectors. Our energy device will come into the market and driven down spend that hospitals are having to pay because they bundled with two companies who don't have their best interest in mind. We are a leader in the industry.

Slow down, you're obviously drunk off the Applied Kool-Aid. Visionary Leadership, I guess you mean by having his own family members run the company with ZERO medical device industry experience. Again, not a medical device company. Those that have the experience still think healthcare is the same as it was from their US Surgical days. Sorry, you're too young to know about that history. You're number 1 in trocars, check your numbers. That's changed since MDT and J&J started holding customers accountable to their contract. I'll try not to drown in your tears from crying about bundle pricing tiers and how unfair it is. If Applied really cared about the customer they would have provided the customer with a clip applier, energy device, and stapler years ago. I commend you on your posts here, I'm sure it helps pass the time in RSM since everyone there is paid hourly. Again, not a medical device company.

i used to work for Applied many years ago and left after a year when I saw the writing on the wall. I worked for one of the largest medical device companies both before and after leaving this shithole of a company and realizing they sold me a false bill of goods to come here. The hiring manager couldn't even explain to me the comp plan, which was my 1st red flag and I should have known better but sometimes you live and you learn. From the beginning, everything was nothing but lies. The support, the comp plan, the direction. To the poster who said this company is not a medical device company, they are spot on. The CEO has at least a dozen family working here and I would equate it to working for Kim Jong Un in a North Korea. DOZENS of people have been fired that I know of for no real reason & just because someone in this communist company that worked for the CEO believes they're not drinking the Kool-Aid. My professional advice would be to look elsewhere if you are looking for a job here. They don't retain top talent, their comp plan is capped and very convoluted, and virtually no recruiter will work with them. If you don't believe me, ask ANYONE in the industry and don't make the same mistake me and hundreds of others did.

Looks like this guy couldn't cut it at Applied. We have a new generation medical device company that is changing the industry. I'm sorry you are at your company making less than you were here. We design the best products on the planet. Our engineers are the true driving force behind this company. We create the most cutting edge products and the industry is playing catch up. We are a company that is run be engineers and that's why we are so successful.

are you fucking kidding me? Your products fail consistently, and no top-tier medical device company is run by engineers. J&J, Medtronic, Stryker, Boston Sci, St Jude are all run by top tier sales professionals and have a team of top of their class surgeons/doctors. I worked here and Applied Medical has NONE of that. Just shut the fuck up and stop spewing lies.
