Has anyone else heard this rumor? Supposedly, come January, there will only be 2 reps per territory. No more CV1, CV2, or PDI. The 2 remaining reps will see a mix of pcp and cd. It would seem that it's easiest to get rid of the PDI rep first.

    Is anyone shocked about this?

Nobody has corroborated the rumor or stated its origin. Don't think too many will be upset if it happens.

Wouldn't it be funny if some of the PDI Reps. BUMPED some of the NVS reps right out of a job?

Now that would be hilarious. However, in the Florida region, it's never gonna happen if the Novartis regional has any say so. Rumor has it that he's the reason all of the PDI reps in FL are treated like crap. Not so in all regions. From a very reliable source, he sees NO benefit of having PDI around anywher.

After having said this, PDI reps in many areas can and do outsell many of the Novartis reps and this certainly should happen....how sweet it would be!!!

That dude is an old man, past his time, a squeaky wheel. He and most of the ABLs need to go especially the midget.

He is not the only regional who sees no benefit to PDI, I’m up north and our regional gives ABL’s the ok to do and say whatever they want. They are upfront and blunt with their dislike for us. Funny thing is without us ABL may have no job, not enough people to “manage”

And PDI endorses this behavior? Pathetic. Leave fast. PDI management should be ashamed and quite cowardly not to stick up for their employees that are just trying to earn a pay check. What's the point any way for a NVS regional to do this it's totally counter productive.

I wonder if NVS VPs know about this pathetic behavior because if I was a VP and we hired an outside organization to help sell the last thing I would want is any of my middle managers doing is intentionally sabotaging salesmen over a personal grudge. Millions of dollars wasted.... I would be resigning all middle managers.

Unless it’s confirmed by Novartis or PDI how reliable is any of it? Read between the lines, Entresto is bombing, there is no need for this bloated sales force. How much longer is this charade going to go on for? You don’t need 4 separate teams calling on hospitalists, Cardios and PCP. Exactly how it will shake out no one can guess, I wouldn’t be surprised if this was the outcome though. Easy to end contract early when PDI doesn’t achieve any of their impossible targeted growth expectations.

Who intends on going to the National Meeting in January?

The new growth expectations for Entresto are absolute lunacy. PDI is desperate and just trying to squeeze any last RXs out of us before they call it quits. At this point is anyone really committed to this contract?

No one. People have lost respect for all management. Everyone I talk have no intentions of going to the January meeting.

Look for at least half, if not more of PDI to be cut by the end of the year. Meetings are happening now.

I have loved selling Entresto. I think it's a fantastic drug. I do have PCPs that have prescribed it. But for all my efforts the number of doctors prescribing in my territory is low. It's very frustrating. I would be perfectly ok with the contract ending. We'd get unemployment benefits and be free to look for other emoyment.
