  1. Anyone looking to this place as a place of hire don't bother. Top talent is gone, leadership is clueless and seems to want to run the company in the ground. Bonus doesn't exist, can't use company car for personal use and constant 2hr conference calls. If that sounds like a right fit then please apply.

Will be curious to see how many fewer reps there are at the next regional meetings. Not that the likes of MC or TB would notice or care ...

What's up with the District manager in NJ/NY area? Open territory- wondering if I should interview.

the oncology DM for NY/NJ is a sharp shooter, real and actually cares about the success of his team. If you have the opportunity to work for him, do it. The reps in his district are among the best (if they didn’t leave)

He's had a serious amount of turnover on that team.

Most managers at Eisai are okay. The culture of the upper management is bad and the products aren't spectacular. The latter is what drives people away.

I agree. The Managers are pretty good here and Eric is no exception. There are things going on above the DM's that are driving the angst and need to flee. If you have any experience in pharma, this joint is a head scratcher.

Eisai epilepsy is a shit show. The majority of managers are horrible. DL is the worst dm at the company. People are fleeing as soon as they can land a better job.

its always been bad since the launch of Fycompa but got much worse when PH took over. Managements been turned over three times and the sales force has been changed three times as well. Fact of the matter is docs don't like the product, it's a last resort and Eisai did a poor job partnering with the Epilepsy community at launch. The saying goes, you only have one chance to launch a drug, Eisai is on the third try with the same results.

I'm new to Eisai but have years of experience. Why am I being treated like a child? I've never experienced this at another company.

welcome to eisai, where you're the problem, not the products.

Eisai US culture is based completely on blame the reps for everything.. it's what they tell Japan.. the reps can't sell. Just let it roll off your back. The more you interact with the VPs, DMs, marketing and corporate staff you will see how incompetent they are and the criticism won't matter to you. Cash your checks and leave like the other 60% of field sales.

That's because you can't sell like Bill. Bill is getting rid of the bottom 20% every year. He is just pulling up the eisai sales culture. You must be with the bottom 20%.
