Eliquis just surpassed xarelto and invokana doesn't have cv outcomes indication so it is being dominated by jardiance. Both Janssen drugs have lost preferential status with dominant plans. Even though these issues are the result of Janssen decisions at a corporate level, crap rolls downhill. Just who gets crapped on remains to be determined. Inventive, Quintiles or the highly paid Janssen reps. One thing for sure is pressure to perform will rain down on all, so watch your backs. The pressure always results in an attitude that maybe I will be safe if I throw someone else under the bus.

Panic setting in on a nationwide conference call for Quintiles/Janssen on Tuesday. 8 weeks of overkill in the doctors offices to bludgeon them on Xarelto. And no bonus payouts at end just increase market share. Pathetic, Big Pharma tactics. Get your resumes ready !

There is a current hiring freeze in many Janssen territories. . Hearing some Inventiv managers telling their reps to start looking for jobs.

Not everyone was laid off. Over 60% of reps gone. What is left is 109 reps and 7 DM's. InVentiv down to 135 reps and 12 DM's. They lost 225 reps.

Actually Quintiles was 43 reps and 3 managers! So over 150 left. Still they claimed it was analytics via geography not being productive enough. Reality was Invokana is tanking and JnJ is in a panic. Contract sales first to go!

Former Janssen rep here, I am exceeding sorry for everyone to hear of this. At first I heard that all CSO rep' were laid off from both Inventiv and Janssen, which earlier posts seemed to confirm; but the immediately prior post says some headcount remains for both... which is true? Friend of mine was pretty sure that ENTIRE Quintiles team was gone...

There are 109 reps and 7 DM's that remain on the Quintiles team and 135 reps and 12 DM's that remain on the InVentiv team. Both lost greater than 60% of salesforces!!!

For those territories that were kept that had multiple reps, layoffs were determined by your 2016 performance rating. The rep with the higher rating kept their job. In the event where performance ratings were the same it then came down to sales rankings for Q1 and again the rep with the highest ranking was kept.

Hopefully contract for 2018 gets signed soon!!

At least they got rid of Mike Baker in May from Quintiles. What a POS.

Not necessarily. Two quintiles reps I know in the same territory. Both excellent reps. One won P club in 2016. The other was retained. The one let go has several years with Quintiles. The other started early 2016. Maybe most recent quarter rank was considered, but that is just a quess.

Thank you for the heads up! Why were they trying to mislead everyone by saying that they thought it would be extended.
