Would love to listen in on the calls between Simmons and Ricks. The end is coming...you WAY overpaid for Novartis, your core product sales are getting whacked, and the biggest WHACK is coming (monensin). You've made terrible people decisions and surrounded yourselves with a bunch of people who can't compete. Wonder how many empty desks will be in Greenfield next February??? And you field people, get ready for "opportunities" outside of Elanco.

Wrong! We are just fine. We will be launching a flea/tick pill 1Q and will dominate again!

Will it make up for the negative 23% that the food animal group just posted? Do they actually work??

    Work??? LMAO!!

This is what you get when you have incompetent management and retain only those minions who follow your incompetence. They've lost their ability to compete, can't sell anything, then drive price down to the entire marketplace and still lose a huge chunk of the business. And the best part will be seeing the building in Greenfield continue to empty. How many building are empty now? How many will be empty in six months? And my bet is the incompetent ones will still be roaming the halls. Your toast children, terrible management

You're going to say this while letting go contracted sales people, offering retirement to others and shutting down buildings in Greenfield?????? Jeffy, your messaging has run its course and your minions can't manage going to the bathroom, let alone trying to run a company. Be proud that you guys have destroyed a once well-respected company.

Megalomaniac who thought he would become the head of Lilly. Will be lucky to have his job by year-end.

so who all took the "offer"? To those who didn't or are left, get ready and buckle in, you're fixing to go on a wild ride! Remember the past few years of poor execution and swearing by Simmon's minions because they will continue to be the demise and implosion in 2018.

yep, the winning continues!! There will be some buildings for sale in Greenfield by 2019. Too bad some good people's lives will get turned upside down by incompetent management.

    From Lilly Q3

The company is reviewing strategic alternatives for Elanco Animal Health, including an initial public offering, merger, sale, or retention of the business, and will provide an update no later than the middle of 2018.

Sorry, SM is/was way over his head. Just because he came from Merial doesn’t make him a good leader. Maybe you can hire a Merial/BI real leader to save you.

Lilly rep here. Open companion animal position with Elanco in my town. Advice? Apply? Bayer thread says Elanco folks already over there.

If you are desperate for a job, go for it. Know however that you may only be employed for six months or so. If you've read the posts here, you'll know that midyear of 2018 Elanco may make the announcement that they will be sold or merged with another company. The other two options mentioned are keeping things they way they currently are (very doubtful), or spun off as an IPO. If you can stand that level of job insecurity, then yes, by all means apply. Personally I wouldn't touch it with a ten foot pole.
