CMS is cutting most lab reimbursements by 10% each year over the next 3 years. The 1 exception is Drug Screening. That code is now going back to the G0479 code and they will pay $62. They paid the 80307 Code at $107 in 2017. Cuts are coming and they are big. Good buy all you criminal labs. Good luck competing at these rates. These rates also affect all private lab reimbursement as they are all linked to CMS. Can't wait to be the last lab standing as my company is turning a 40% profit, averaging $40 per drug testing, including confirmations. 10% will be a blip for us, but not all you scumbags averaging $100 plus per req. The cuts will devastate you! RIP!!!!!!

No smart ass comments from all you criminal labs and 1099 reps? I have multiple posts on here and always get attacked that I am a troll and do not know what I am talking about. Everyone needs to wake up and realize your days in this business are coming to an end. You all suck and you ruined this industry. Also, just wait until the labs that are billing all drug screens with the screening code and the 2nd tier LC/MS/MS code get audited. The pain has only just begun and I hope you all suffer in the worst possible way. You are all going to get what you deserve!

The fact you talk to yourself and require constant validation is sad and unprofessional. Glad you're not in my organization.

You mean the organization that is going to be out of business by mid 2018!. I own my organization idiot. I don't need validation. like the fact you don't try to argue against my points because you know I am right!

Sky has already fallen. Audits are crushing labs now for overpayment. It's all corruption. I think the cash only model is the way to go. They hammered us last week on why we couldn't collect the deductibles. We explained that we billed them many times, but that wasn't good enough. They the asked us why we didn't taken them to collections. Our owner responded that he didn't want to bankrupt patients for healthcare, and refused to take them to collections. They then wanted ALL there money back for patients that we could not collect on. We plan to take them to court, but honestly this is too much of a headache to continue. Most of my reps are tired of waiting months to get paid. Owner is tired of always getting screwed over. I think the field is dead, just a very unpleasant field. I don't blame my reps for leaving and joining pharma again.
