so Ive seen the sales simulation talked about in here and that it lasted 2 hours. How is that possible? Or do you study a product and then it sell it over 3-5 minutes?
half hour to study the scenario then half hour role play and discuss. often paired with interviews so total of 2 hours
I interviewed all the way to the RM and have to say the manager was a complete tool! He made the role play so ridiculous and took it so seriously! He made me exit the room and knock as though we were doctors/rep. The fake doctor gig was really fun for him. He also called me the am of the interview to see if I could be there 30 minutes early (of course I was ready) and met him. They put me up in a cheap motel for my 2nd interview and ride-along. The rep didn't get me until 9:00 and dropped me off at like 2:00. He was working another job at his house. Not impressed. Went with competitor and love it! Salary was $20k more and the interview process was like night and day! There is something to be said for first impressions. He would have micro-managed me to death! Good luck!
I was told interview would be three hours long. Hiring mgr talked about how happy people are with the company. Incredible growth but what is life like as a rep? Coming from medical device sales.
