Nucynta backorders

Why are we having backorders on strengths besides the 200mg? We were told about the 200mg backorder. But am seeing and hearing from other reps about mutiple other strengths of IR and ER on backorder.

 

Yes, I have been dealing with this in my territory for the last 2 weeks. This is a major problem!

 

Ditto! It's supposed to be resolved, product hit wholesalers last week, so pharmacies should be able to order now. . . . HOWEVER , since it is manufactured in Puerto Rico, this may not be the last problem we have with stocking. Sure would like to hear from the elusive VP of sales! Maybe next week??
I'm not sure what is more important then keeping his sales force informed & motivated!

 

we manufacture in Puerto Rico? Didn't they entire island lose electricity?

Oh well, I am sure our company had the foresight to bear the expense of having a second production line ready to go. Because we are most concerned with serving patients. Then PL is a distant second.

And yet another call about pharmacies not being able to order Nucynta ER 250! What's going on?

 

Puerto Rico does not have power still, running on generators. Other drug companies also manufacture there and are affected. Hopefully it will resolve soon. Still, an update would be nice.

Numbers for Nucynta ER fell off for 2 weeks last dashboard report. NO doubt supply, inventory issues. Good grief.....

 

how the hell do they expect us to talk about shortages??? Unfucking believable. I know I’m losing my job, but people need the damn medicine!!

 

No updates on stocking from senior leadership or Trade Account Director, but we are supposed to be calling on CPTs Business as Usual?!?!? What are we supposed to tell the patients who can’t find Nucynta ER in any pharmacy or wholesaler?? Well you remember the hurricane . . . Puerto Rico is an island with limited power . . . How about ask Your Collegium Rep they will know where to get it!!

 

Earth to Casey Perkins; please give us a comprehensive update on stocking of NucyntaER. Unless you don't care anymore- in that case, do the right thing and send an email to the salesforce anyway,

This is Casey.....I’m at the plastic surgeons office getting more work done on my face so I look even more plastic and so nothing moves but my lips.....so stop bugging me!

 

If they cannot meet production requirements then I believe it's time to do the right thing ,and that's to sell out to someone who has the capability of producing it and in bulk !! It's time to stop riding the "brand name" train and go generic, that train has been derailed so give the patients a plane ticket no need to be selfish and greedy. It should be a decision for the common good!! Release the stipulations on the patent on sell it to someone who can produce it , cheaper too.

 

I'm a chronic pain sufferer. I work full-time & have been on Nucynta ER since 2012.. it is the only medication that has provided me enough pain relief with no side effects so I can work & function like a normal person. I can't get my meds.. none of the pharmacies or hospital pharmacies have any.. not one pill. What am I & other patients like me supposed to do?? Does anyone out there care?? Certainly doesn't feel like anyone does.. I'm truly scared.. this is going to affect my well being & others in a terrible way.. why isn't this shortage on the news & out there as serious issue.. just as s
