Another key person leaving. I guess now their supervisor is forced to learn the job and have to finally do some work. You think upper management would stop defending this person by now. Considering how many people have left because of this individual.

What is the news with the shipping department? Why are they all leaving? Do they know something?

Hadn't heard about the shipping departures. I had thought they were contractors with an outside company like Ricoh.

There's a problem in Cambridge, not sure how pervasive, but clear lack of direction and managers who don't/can't/won't manage. Employees have no idea of their vision for their dept's or groups. It's all about 'go along to get along'. We also have people who steal the data of others and pass it off as their own at dept meetings and conferences. And yet others (managers) who are verbally aggressive/abusive towards employees, leaving them angry and upset. A great collaborative environment to be sure. The dept managers have been alerted but are unwilling to address the issue. Reminds me of 'Escape from NY', or Merck.

One co-worker mentioned her brother worked at the aforementioned consulting firm and they always recommended the 'lean' program, leading to layoffs and reorganizations. That's one way to improve the bottom line.

It's Phil Brooks. People just call him CM. I think it was a nickname Phil actually made for himself. I mean, who does that?

the previous poster clearly stated "she" which implies a female. The next poster that said C.M ( Phil Brooks) also used the pronoun "he" which implies a male. So it's doubtful if CM was who the poster was referring to.
