There is a primary care rep position open in my territory and I was wondering if anyone knew what products primary care reps sell. It doesn't say on the job posting, the only allergan samples I have noticed in offices I call on is linzess or xifaxan. So I'm assuming it's a GI position. are there any other products the GI reps promote?

Fort Myers Florida. And I also meant to say viberzi and not xifaxan in my previous post.

Only take that job if you are truly desperate, this company is dead weight and you will have no future with it.

Bystolic, Namenda XR, Namzaric, Linzess, and Viberzi

we have not sold Namenda XR in about 2 years.

    Prolly Bystolic, Viberzi, Linzess, Namazric.
Or you could have Vrylar and any combination of the above.
I sell 4 diff drugs all weighted at about 25% which is not conducive in today’s environment. It takes lots of luck and thu gs going your way to consistently be successful. We should sell 2 drugs and sample a 3rd max.
Most everyone hates the threatening environment here.
If you need a job I guess you need a job

Environment depends on DM but with the last wave of layoffs, DM's are under pressure to have their reps produce. Definitely not a nice atmosphere to work at anymore. Like previous poster said, If you have to work then ok but definitely better things out there.

Also you apparently have experience so that's usually a non starter right there. Forest prefers to hire reps with no industry experience so that is a strike against you right there

How much experience is too much?

Quite frankly, any. But you might be ok with less than a year. They don't want you to have learned 'any bad habits' or in reality know how other places do things. Because while other companies have their own issues and problems they pale in Comaprison to what they are and how you are treated at Forest/Allergan

You can never have too much experience. It's a good thing.

Well in my Area they literally will not hire someone that has more than 3 years of experience. It was told to our team on several occasions over the years. And they preferably want someone with ZERO experience. Mainly cause they pay $55k entry level pay and the fear is an experienced rep will just take the job until they find a real paying job.
I’ve always wondered why a rep with no experience wouldn’t just do the same thing but whatever
