Very well said. Such an uninspiring group of managers. It's like working on an assembly line where innovation and thinking outside of the box is discouraged and viewed problematic.. Very backwards and behind the times Managememt here.

I hope I did not come to work for a bunch of bean counters.

Oh it's just like big Pharma here. Be prepared for lots of mindless mgmt tactics.

I still keep in touch with friends who remain working in neuro. All I hear is its a become a metrics based company with poor top down communication. Hear it's a refurbished big Pharma place now. Happy to be gone and feel bad for the loyal reps who remain only to be treated like big Pharma reps.

managers here are robotic drones who are not paid to think. They are paid to comply with big pharma ways.

As a rep that has been here for under 1 year, I feel betrayed. I was told multiple times during the hiring process that this division was not big Pharma. Well it's the most big pharma I've seen since my days working in primary care pharma 5-6 years ago. It's getting ridiculous and making me second guess the move.

Metrics are the easiest thing in the world to make look like whatever they want it to look like. If that's your biggest issue, you'll just a complainer. Leave. It won't affect anyone but you

Seriously do you even read the posts before replying in such moronic fashion. Lmfao.... I left this place for cool 20% raise and feel bad for friends who remain especially having to work for metric drones like you.

Just how bad is it? I'm in interview process here and appreciate any info on mgmt.

More managers were recently added to create an over managed big pharma situation. Although there are a handful of good managers, most of them are your typical big Pharma clones that landed here after they were let go from their previous jobs. Lots of lip service saying it's not big Pharma but reality is its totally big Pharma. Lots of trackers in place. Giving it to you straight up.

I don't know where you're from, but I don't know of any managers being added anywhere. And I don't have to do any trackers.

Wow thanks for making this so easy with your clueless response. company went from 12 to 15 districts with 3 additional DMs. Stop trying to mislead candidates looking for info. Again lip service says no big Pharma but it's totally straight from the big Pharma play book.

Sounds like the micro mgmt here is par for the course nowadays in Pharma. What is the base pay range in neuro?

Don't expect anything more than 4-8% over your current base pay. Budgets tightening up and micro management is in full force.
