What is needed for GE onboarding? What will I have to provide? I am trying to find my paystubs for my present employer, how far back will they need, what about prior employers since they only will provide name rank and serial number
All you really need is a good bottle of whiskey to help you numb yourself when you realize what a mistake you've made.
I'm currently interviewing for hardware sales specialist for downstream manufacturing/chromotography operations. Is GE as bad as I hear?
Well, basically GE is full of bureaucracy; customer-focus is "The Customer Should be Happy we at GE choose to do business with them," (that is, no support ... more bureaucracy. And on the sales end of things, management is just waiting for that one year you don't do well so they can show you the door.
This is point on! Big mistake to join this huge organization. The biggest red tape you'll find. People are miserable there but they'll never have the guts to leave. They've all been way too complacent.
Worst job I have ever had and I'm still here for now... No support, no follow through, and the internal systems are 30 years behind the times. As a sales professional, this is the WORST comp plan I have ever had. Worst career move I have ever made was coming here.
FALSE! Benefit cost is based off your earnings and they suck! I pay more for the same benefits as the lower income earners and the deductible keeps going up and the coverage down. Commission based comp plan is 25-40% less than top pay plans in the industry. GE is a joke!
