Well we did it. Libre is now FDA approved and in many countries. Over 400,000 users. This all started with the Navigator work and was much improved upon by other teams.

Hats off to all at ADC who made it happen. Great team effort. This product has changed diabetes management.

I was working in engineering when Abbott bought us....made $142K when Miles purchased my Therasense options. Was not a ton of money but a solid bonus. Made up for C. Nelson.

 

So what is going on at ADC? Have not looked at this site in a while but seems a bit dead. Is ADC selling its Libre in the US? Any layoffs (many when I worked there)?

True. Did well in Europe and not as good in the US as time went one. Good product at a high price. I read a few predictions that Libre will generate $1.2B in revenue for ADC by 2020. So ADC may be first in CGM soon.
