I will help clear the air here, I wrote this post about a month ago, but did not write any other posts. The person that responded that they got off a plan was not me. Not sure who it was. My guess would be a manager or Tim.

I am still on a plan, however I am working at another company now just collecting my last checks from here until they figure it out. Right now it's free cash, not 100k cash, but it's free money! :):):)

It is depends on which type of OR required like OR bed safety straps, OR table strap or table pads you are looking for. There are many online retail stores which provides OR straps and OR table pads online. You should explore one of the region specific online retailers like Medtrica, as they usually have table pads and other products to go along with their medical equipment.

I can't wait to quit this place. TW is a complete fucking liar. $110k? Bullshit! No one makes more than 60k.

Everything about this quite is 100% True!
I’d like to add a few tidbits that were left out:

    1. You have to provide your own laptop, printer, and all ink, paper etc...

    2. In the interview process, unless things have changed, you are promised 50% Gross Profit!!! Sounds AMAZING!!! Right? Be sure to ask what the “gross” profit is. My experience was that it was $3.00, yes, three dollars.

    3. Not only does the scope warmer get too hot and actually cause fogging (which is humiliating in trials), It also has to be plugged in. TW will tell you that the cord will break away, and when nurses/ techs are walking in a sterile environment, they should just keep walking when they feel like something is tripping them, because the cord will “break away”. I was in a trial, the circular actually did trip and start falling and fell into & contaminated the sterile field.

    4. The “Suture PassOR” Carter Thomason knock-off (forgive my spelling of the CT if it’s wrong, I went to a week of trading in Tachoma with TE) actually breaks down and completely crumbles in the surgeons hands! I’ve seen it happen multiple times in trials. The white handle & blue button completely break and come apart. The internal grasper comes out. Also, a humiliating experience.

    5. In training, TW will take you out for crappy pizza and most likely will not reimburse you for your expense while your there. And the trainers/ managers that go in to help you won’t pick up the tab.... Probably because they’re not getting reimbursed.

I’m hard pressed to believe anyone there is even making 90k. Expect to rack up a ton of credit card debt, because there is no way in hell you will get reimbursed for that.

Long story short, to do this job you have to be independently wealthy. And if you ARE independently wealthy, please find a better way to spend your time and money. It makes my stomach turn thinking about how TW runs this business by taking advantage of people and offering sub-par products. Please don’t put your future OR employment at risk by tarnishing YOUR name with these junk products & his slimy business practices.

TW actually holds calls with management & instructs them and their employees to go onto Cafepharma to post positive comments to combat all the negativity.

None. You provide your own laptop, printer, ink, paper, cellphone, internet etc without any allowances. You do however get a $250 stipend for all business expenses!
You do have to pay your expenses upfront, but if you make quota you will be reimbursed!!!! That’s gas, hotel, out of town meals, flights, parking. As I recall he does reimburse you for vendor credentalling.

In your interview be sure to ask and validate the $$$ amount that gross profit is... it ranges from $3-$30.

Bottom feeders . They have Adler selling , and they too are bottom feeders. If you work as a 1099 as a subarea the principle should keep maybe 30% or 20% of profit. Meaning $1 commission you get .70 or .80 . If they principle offers you 50 he is stealing and is greedy !!!

I love coming on here every 6 months or so to get caught up on what's new at SPI (OR Company). Sounds like nothing is new...

This place is a sad joke of a company, and easily the worst products I ever sold.

I love the fact I left this 60k job!

I assumed TW would still be operating with his same old ways...

What is the old saying? Those that do the same thing over and over again but expect a different outcome...

    Oh yeah, TW is insane!

Add to his resume: narcissist, paranoid, and a complete fucking moron!

I'm just curious, is this company still in business in the U.S.? I wouldn't be surprised if they were bankrupt or if the owner was in prison from what I have read.

It is sad that any hospital would choose to use their products. I never experienced a positive clinical outcome, or at the very least a clinical acceptable outcome. It just goes to show you where medicine is going. They no longer care about patients, just about giving CHEAP care. What is next, diabetic patients will just pick up their insulin at McDonalds?

It's been about 4-5 years since I left this joke of a company. I just had a quick memory and laugh of how big of a joke this job was. Products were god awful, and last I looked on their website the products are still the same Chinese knockoffs. Is this company still around?
