What is everyone thinking about the new SI? I still think of myself as new to the business and was talking to a guy who is a manager at a different company that I worked for at my last job. I was telling me about how difficult it is to keep up with reps in the south and he told me that the best states to work in at his company are TX, LA, NC, Georgia, FL. I told him that our company is the same and he said that it is like that at all companies. He said his team has a year quota and was surprised that I am ranked against reps from other areas that have different coverage in medicare and medicaid and better access to doctors. I don’t know how the quota works but it sounds like it might be fair for everyone and hope that this change with SI is the start of supernus understanding that business is different in every part of the country. I have met reps in these states and they are nice people but don’t seem different from the people in my region. The bottom rep in some of these teams have better share than the best on my team. I like it here but don’t want to looked at as a failure because I am being compared to someone in the south

If you do what is expected of us there is no way you can fail. I believe the new SI with tiers is setup to protect you from the southern territories. Name of the game is always growth. Even with a low MS you can grow and get paid SI based off of growth of other territories with low MS.

Quota pay systems sound good and fair in theory, but they decentivize strong reps and reward average performance.
