Ok people. If you haven't done your homework. Arbor is required to submit a binding contract for our (third party end-userswho pay a monthly fee for personal use fleet vehicles) approval.

On the GeoTrac website there is a link that says due to litigation in Europe and Canada companies should provide end users with data security plans, disclosure of who in Arbor has access, plan to sustain security of data, full disclosure of data use, etc

DO YOUR HOMEWORK!!! DO NOT INSTALL GEOTAB UNTIL ARBOR PROTECTS US!!!!

Good luck with European and Canadian law...should work out great for you. Arbor owns the cars, not you. Company has full rights to know how the cars are being used. You just don't want Arbor knowing about your 10-3 M-Th "TGIF Thx Investurs" lifestyle.

There are more issues than just the concern of tracking the car and where it is during work hours. This would be extremely valuable information to anyone who hacks it or has access to it that is a stalker, a thief, etc. I think we have the right to know who has access to it, where it is stored and how secure it is. From a personal privacy standpoint, I don't think my employer has the right to know where I am 24/7 and with this technology, they would have that. I don't know my manager that well and as a female, I don't really want anyone to have the right to be tracking me wherever I go. There are a lot of creeps out there in the world and just because they work for Arbor doesn't mean they aren't stalkers. There should be some safeguards and disclosure to us if we are going to be required to use this. Who knows if there is some creep sitting in the basement of wherever this data goes to looking at it and using it for illegal purposes. All I know is that if this gets hacked or misused, there would be a MASSIVE lawsuit happening. Doesn't seem worth it to me.

    10 - 3.... most don't work that much. My Co-workers are a joke. They do 4 hrs a day, have a goal of 30 EF a week.

We don't even know who has access to this personal info, where it goes, or what info is captured. Super sketchy. Total violation of personal privacy.
These fucking things are constantly transmitting so whoever can see it basically has the ability to know where we are all the time. Not info I'm willing to share. I don't trust Arbor that much.

Do you really think these vehicles belong to Arbor? Get a grip! We pay $180 per month for them - that's just a discounted rental car. On top of that, we don't get many options. We also store them when not in use so Arbor does not have to pay for a parking lot. Imagine working for the post office, paying THEM $180 a month and storing that mail truck at your house! On top of that, we are risking our lives every day by driving around with a trunk full of drugs. Oh, if someone hacks into the system and can find all of us with a trunk full of drugs....at our homes (not at the doctor's office where we are in full view of the public) - look out! Better protect yourself!

Buy a jammer on line. I drive in stealth mode all the time. I guess that’s why I get frequent calls from dales op!

Who exactly can tell where we are? Who has access to this?

Has anyone got in trouble for speeding or received any e-mails as a result of the geo tab?
