Which will Alpha team be- the marines landing to save the day or the last line of defense in a war that has been lost? What idiots decide to do this and why? Is it to increase detail count? Is it to help sales after UHC FU? This whole rent a rep gig is getting old and the owners of our contracts make us dance to their tune like the puppet masters they are! Does anyone st Lundbeck even understand Psych? Do we need 5 teams selling Rexalti in a territory? It's another cluster F... and the account managers know it! So when Alpha hits the Rexalti Beach head in March and we see sales go up will that be coincidence or experience? If the sales continue down due to loss of payers will Alpha be blamed for selling too much Maintena in Rexalti offices? Time will tell but either way it's a new Lundbeck year- enjoy the holiday season that is upon us- All the Account Managers at Lundbeck are great people making the best of tough situations beyond our control.
As an Alpha rep, i can tell you we won't be "selling" Rexulti, just like we haven't been "selling" Trinteliix since it came out January 2014. My bread-and-butter is AM, not Trin or Rex! Rexulti is just another "me too" in a 98% generic market, with terrible coverage. A beta rep told me that your strategy is to probe more and close! Too funny! That's not a damn strategy! The company has no strategy except your juvenile patient profiles that make docs roll their eyes back! Our AM partner, Otsuka, is just another pathetic company out there with reps looking to jump at the first opportunity, and Rex to them is just another me too as well. Sounds like Lundbeck doesn't it? No, we will let beta and gamma lift the load with Rex. I can tell you that Alpha wants nothing to do with this dog!
I don't want to be one of 5 selling Rex in my territory. I really don't want to be bothered with the training thru the Holidays either. This will be another non-starter for Lundbeck.
It was the same way for the gammas last year they opened up training right before the holiday shutdown, and if I remember correctly all assignments were due end of January/ early February timeframe. Cant remember exactly when everything was due but I know they opened up the training right before the holiday shutdown.
I remember Gamma doing that. One would think they have known this was coming for months. I don't think upper management rolled out of bed and decided to give Alpha Rex because someone had an epiphany overnight. Knowing it's the Holiday season and everyone starts taking vacation why not start training November 1st or better yet October 1st. I know they will say no distractions for T3 but it's over now! This whole company is a giant Contract Company that jumps when our owners say jump! Two Japanese companies- December 7th Pearl Harbor Day- Otsuka bombed their reps in December last year and another surprise coming this December. What is it about December and the Japanese?
That's funny!!! There is no saving Rexulti - if it looks like a dog, and barks like a dog it is a dog!!!! It doesn't matter how many teams sell it.There is absolutely no scientific reason to chose this drug over Abilify - if you think there is could you post it? I mean talk about bait and switch - they were too afraid to even do head to head comparisons because they didn't believe Rexulti would come out ahead. The absolute cost to the health care dollar is incredible - just because the Japanese scored with Abilify they thought they had it made. Like another poster said Lundbeck sold their soul and now this is what you have. The alliance can't even agree on patient types - what a joke
How are you guys saying 5 teams? I have 4 Otsuka reps that have it in their bag although the AM team probably talks about it as much as Alpha will. Therefore, it could theoretically be 7 reps with the same drug. That could be 1 detail a day - have to flip a coin to see who works weekends.

December 2014- contract manager gone, nurse educator gone, Assure Manager hired, Account Manager picks up nurse educators' duties. December 2015 Otsuka Hospital Rep joins the party, ...December 2016 Blue team joins the Maintena party 2 per territory... July 3017 Blue team leaves the party.. December 2017. Otsuka Hospital Account Zmanages leave the party..Otsuka Realigns again in December and March 2018 Alpha drops Trintellix picks up Rexalti as a second product and aolia we have 5 Reps per territory selling Rexalti and back down to Two selling Maintena- a red team member and alpha member...of course all this will likely change given the hodgepodge way upper management moves reps around. And these guys want to talk to us about Business Acumen?????
