Are they going to do away with car allowance for driving our own cars in the field? Are fleet cars are given?
They may do away with allowance by reducing it in a 3 yr time frame. Then they may force you to a company car.
Who wrote this?? Totally out of the loop if you don't know what the current car program is here. No one fully knows what will happen with the allowance program in the future, so yes, the other option is fleet cars........... You can change back and forth from allowance to fleet and vice versa from time to time.
i think the last thing anyone on here should be worried about is your car allowance vs fleet. If you are so concerned, please volunteer to go now, in order to open a spot for those of us who want to stay. Yes, car allowance will be phased out over the next couple of years and everyone will be moved to fleet vehicles. Significant cost savings and a vast reduction in company liability (picture a CS rolling around in a 15-year old Benz with 228,000 miles on it VS a new, albeit crappy, car from Wheelz)
