You stayed too long, should've seen it coming years ago.

You thought you were still the same ole Genentech during the great years of the Art and Richard Era.... the reality is you still wanted to pretend and wish GNE would go on forever the way it "was". You passed up on some great opportunities with start ups because things were not greener on the other side of the fence, but they were! Loved the GNE years but glad I moved on when I did, sick PC culture there and lived too long on Art's and Richard's past successes. Be a little more open minded in the future to other Biotech opportunities!

    God Bless you future endeavors!

Folks lets look at this in real world...Art L was on stage discussing 3 products: Rituxan Herceptin and Avastin.
He said we will never see this again. You talk about a brilliant man. He was right! Our science was phenomenal. Most companies tried to copy and find the same luck in science. Our scientists moved on for their OWN discoveries. What is so hard to understand that it was a great run with the antibodies we had.
It will be ok.....if not here somewhere else. Science is so awesome. Do whats best for you for once, quit relying on the company to carry you! If you cannot figure out what is going on with BIOONC here(no one does because there is so much LACK OF COMMUNICATION) make a decision and move on or stay.
Look at Merck...luck of the trials...Keytruda Keytruda Keytruda, however would you want to work for them? If so everyone would jump, and they are not. AM I RIGHT? Peace Out!

    Where is my Starbucks...

    Hello Idiot.

Merck purchased Schering via to get Keytruda or was very lucky!

Science is awesome. You style of promotion is from last century! Do you even know what your customers look like (oops. I forgot you can look them up on-line.) I believe you call that a sales call.

Genentech got fat and happy. It's no surprise what happened here. What rep would leave making the coin at DNA with little accountability.

Hope you get to put some miles on the Audi this weekend before it's taken back.

    Enjoy
